  • *1/4 pound goats milk melt and pour soap cut into cubes (You can find it here on Amazon)
  • 3 teaspoons bubblegum scented oil (Find it in this set on Amazon)
  • Pink soap dye (Find it in this set on Amazon)
  • 1 tablespoon pink cosmetic glitter (Find it on Amazon)
  • Loaf soap mold (Find it on Amazon)
Bubblegum Whipped Soap Supplies
  • 1/4 cup goats milk melt and pour soap base (Find it on Amazon)
  • 1 cup whipped soap base (Find it on Amazon)
  • 2 tablespoons liquid vegetable glycerin (Find it on Amazon)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Hand or Stand mixer
  • Reusable piping bag (Find it on Amazon)
  • Large frosting tip (Find it on Amazon)
  • 1/4 pounds of clear suspension soap, cut into cubes, divided  (each cube is approx. 1 ounce) (Find it here on Amazon)
Bubblegum Balls Soap Supplies
  • Purple, Teal and light blue soap colorant (Find it in this set on Amazon)
  • Small round soap mold (Find it on Amazon)
  • Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
  • 3 microwave safe measuring cups (You can get them here on Amazon)

*Suspension soap is a bit thicker when melted compared to regular melt and pour soaps. This allows glitter, jojoba beads, etc. to be suspended within the soap mixture as opposed to falling to the bottom as it will with regular melt and pour soaps. You do not have to use this soap if you don’t have it. Just double up on the regular melt and pour soap base.

This recipe will make approximately 7, 6-ounce bars with approximately 1.5 ounces of whipped soap per bar and 20 small soap balls.

Instructions For Bubblegum Loaf Soap:

Bubblegum Soap Step 1

Step 1: Cut 2 pounds (32 cubes) of the suspension soap base into squares and place into a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup. Heat for 30 seconds. Repeat, stirring after each, until melted.

Bubblegum Soap Step 2

Step 2: Add essential oil, colorant and glitter to the bowl/measuring cup.

Bubblegum Soap Step 3

Step 3: Spray the mold with the rubbing alcohol.

Bubblegum Soap Step 4

Step 4:  Pour the pink soap into mold.

Bubblegum Soap Step 5

Step 5: Spray the top of the soap with the rubbing alcohol. This prevents bubbles from forming.

Bubblegum Soap Step 6

Step 6: Allow to harden at least 3-4 hours. To test if the soap is ready for the next pout, blow on it. If you see ripples, it is not ready. Do not use your fingers to test it or you will leave divots in the soap if it isn’t completely hardened.

Instructions For Bubblegum Whipped “Frosting†Soap:

Step 1: In a large microwave container, add 8-10 cubes (each cube equals a little less than 1 ounce) of the goats milk soap base. Heat in 30 second bursts until soap is completely melted.

Bubblegum Whipped Soap Step 2

Step 2: Add in the whipped soap base and glycerin. Mix on low with a hand or stand mixer for 1 minute. Mix on high until mixture begins to thicken and is light and fluffy, much like frosting.

Bubblegum Whipped Soap Step 3

Step 3: Melt and add in goats milk soap. Mix on low with a hand or stand mixer for 1 minute. Fold in half of the cornstarch. Mix on high for 1 minute. If the mixture is not beginning to form stiff peaks like a meringue, add more cornstarch, 1 teaspoon at a time until it does.

Bubblegum Whipped Soap Step 4

Step 4: Add frosting to your piping bag.

Bubblegum Whipped Soap Step 5

Step: 5: Pipe the frosting onto your bubblegum soap. Allow soap to dry until it becomes stiff, which is between 3-4 hours. Once hardened, cut soap evenly into 7 pieces.

Instructions For Bubblegum Soap Balls:

Bubblegum Balls Soap Step 1

Step 1:  Add 1/4 pound of the melt and pour soap to a measuring cup. Melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring and repeating until completely melted. Evenly divide into 3 measuring cups.

Bubblegum Balls Soap Step 2

Step 2: Add 1-2 drops of 1st color to one measuring cup. Pour into small ball mold.

Bubblegum Balls Soap Step 3

Step 3: Allow to dry for about an hour. Gently pop them out of the mold.

Step 4: Repeat steps 2 & 3 for the other 2 colors. Place gumballs into the soap frosting.
