Summer is almost here and the kids are almost out of school! Since my son and I love snacks, I am always looking for healthy ways to satisfy our craving for crunchy foods!  He loves finger foods. I am determined to get him to love salsa (he’s a picky eater). We are so excited to share our Weight Watchers Salsa Zero Freestyle Points with you!

Since I love snacks, I try to buy healthy snacks. Salsa is super easy, refreshing, and delicious to enjoy. Enjoying salsa with chips definitely satisfies that need for crunch!  Combined with the natural salt from the chips is just perfect!

Before heading to the store, be sure to check what ingredients you will need.  And best of all, don’t forget your favorite chips! My son isn’t really into salsa, so I like to get his favorite chips and I can still use those chips to enjoy the salsa with!

You can also make a big batch of salsa and use it in your homemade tacos, burritos, or even as a topping on baked potatoes! My son loves his baked potatoes, so added a little salsa helps add that spicy kick that he loves.

Seriously, how delicious and fresh does our Weight Watchers Salsa look?! I love salsa and this certainly did not last long in our household! Feel free to change the ingredients if you prefer a more or less spicy kick!

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 4-5 diced tomatoes diced
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 limes juiced
  • 1 salt a pinch or two!
  • 1/2 red onion chopped
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 2 jalapeños diced and seeds removed

Instructions

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend ingredients for 2 min until smooth.
  • ENJOY!!
