I am a huge fan of Beachbody! Over the years, I have enjoyed Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, 21 Day Fix, PiYo and many others. I prefer Beachbody programs because I can workout in the comfort of my own home. Plus, I can choose to workout any time of day without worrying about finding a babysitter. With our child having special needs, we don’t have the option of using a traditional daycare.
I am not a dancer. I have two left feet, so I try avoid dancing if at all possible. When I heard about Country Heat, it honestly did not interest me. However, when I was offered the chance to try it, I did take the time to read a few reviews. Everything they were saying really pushed me to give the program a try!
Being a fan of the 21 Day Fix, I am already a fan of Autumn Calabrese. I love the idea of 30 minute workouts. Having dealt with health issues or injuries in the past, I am really picky about the workout programs I try.
What really drew me towards Country Heat is the 30 minute workouts and the low impact aspect! I can definitely spare 30 minutes for a fun workout! I should preface by saying I dislike country music. I am not a fan at all. However, Country Heat sounded like a program I could try.
For the last few weeks, I’ve been trying a few of the workouts here and there. It is difficult to find my motivation with my son home for the summer. Once he returns to school, I plan to delve deeper into Country Heat and stick with the program!
After doing a few of the workouts, I highly recommend doing the breakdown for each workout. The breakdowns are about 20 minutes long. Autumn takes the time to show you and explain how to do each move. There is even a modifier for each move.
Country Heat is perfect for anyone of any age, dancer or not, country music lover or not. Again, I have experienced health issues and injuries from past workout programs. Country Heat is low impact. I am not a dancer at all, so I was a bit worried about getting all of the steps. Country music does not interest me, however, I find myself listening to the beat of the music to keep up with the steps. The music eventually grows on you.
I am still amazed that the Country Heat workouts are only 30 minutes! I get discouraged just thinking about the long cardio workout programs that I have in my collection but don’t even bother with them anymore.
PiYo is another low impact and quick workout to try. If you love yoga and pilates, PiYo kicks it up a notch! There is no equipment needed, except a yoga mat.
