Top Halloween Kids Movies

I love Halloween; all of the treats, fun, and laughter. When the weather cools, nothing beats a great Halloween movie and a cup of hot chocolate. I can’t wait to tell you about my favorite Halloween kid’s movies that are sure to delight everyone in your household. Grab some popcorn, put on your costume, and get ready for some belly laughs.

Halloweentown

The first movie I want to share is a series called Halloweentown. It is made and produced by the Disney Channel. It instantly became a cult-classic among kids and in response, Disney made two additional movies: Halloweentown II – Kalabar’s Revenge and Halloween High. This is a fun movie series that is great for the whole family to watch and not too scary for the kids.

Casper

The second movie I’d like to share is Casper. Casper is the ghost of a young a boy that is trapped in limbo; unable to move on. When a new family moves into his home, he quickly makes friends with the youngest daughter. However, some other ghosts with bad intentions seek to bring havoc to the new family. Can Casper keep his new friend and her family safe?

Hocus Pocus

The last movie, Hocus Pocus, has been a personal favorite of mine for years. This movie is over 20 years old, but it still makes me feel like a kid everytime I watch it. I’ve heard rumors that a sequel is supposed to be coming out that makes me very excited! The Sanderson Sisters (who are also witches) actively look for the souls of children to steal. They believe that this will help them retain their youth and keep them beautiful.  They have been exiled; trapped in a special book and can only come back with the help of a virgin.  Will they succeed with their evil plans to escape? Watch the movie and find out!

Let’s hear about some of your favorite Halloween movies!
