Fall is definitely imminent. Where I live, in the southeastern United States, we’ve had a few cool evenings. Just a few. But, definitely cool enough that jeans and a long sleeve shirt felt good when I stepped outdoors.

The weather is more hot than cool still, but we’re getting closer to jeans and jackets, outdoor pit fires, and planning for Halloween and Thanksgiving. And we’re already getting a ton of leaves falling from the trees on our property. So, it’s time to review my closet and see what kind of clothing I have and decide what sort of new items need to be purchased to round out my Fall wardrobe.

One thing I’m short on is jewelry. I’m not sure when this happened exactly. I used to wear earrings all the time. My favorite were hoop earrings. I had all sizes, all finishes, many different styles of them. I think they slowly started disappearing when my oldest daughter got old enough to get into my jewelry box. I remember often going to look for a pair of earrings and finding, like, one earring of a pair but the other one was just nowhere. Like it just dropped off the face of the Earth. I still have no idea how that happened.

So, I’ve been adding a new pair of earrings here and there back into my wardrobe. Not just hoops, but all kinds. Love, love, love the jewelry I’ve recently found from Twice Shy. I’m a huge beach bum, since I used to live on the Emerald Coast in the Florida Panhandle. My husband and I vacation there often and it’s always good to get back there and sink my feet into the sand. It’s like going home!

I’m all about comfort when it comes to clothing. I’m not sure why I haven’t been wearing my teeshirt nighty dresses lately. I think they’re just old and worn out. I used to wear them around the house a lot because they’re comfortable.
