Beauty Resolutions Worth Making in 2016 (Part 2)
Beauty Brite Disclosure
When thinking about beauty resolutions worth making in 2016, I think (aside from your skin) that your hair is the logical place to make a change that is not only noticeable to others but that will positively affect your own self-image. When my hair looks great, I find that I stand a little taller and feel a little more confident in myself. When it looks not-so-great, I tend to want to blend into the wallpaper and not get noticed, for sure.

BLNDN Hair Care Products have been the answer to a prayer this winter as I had noticed that my hair was looking pretty dull and feeling dry. The BLNDN lineup helps combat oxidation (whether from dying or the natural process of aging) that cause hair to look less than brilliant. No matter the cause, BLNDN has the cure. This line of hair care products defends your hair by neutralizing the breakdown caused by oxidation using these key ingredients:

  • Camellia Leaf Extract – Reduces oxidative stress and boosts catalase production. Softens hair, aids in overall moisture retention.
  • Baobab Seeds – High in Vitamin C. Aids in damage recovery, deeply nourishes, reinforces strands for improved strength.
  • Murumuru Butter – Unique source of essential fatty acids and Pro-Vitamin A. A natural alternative to silicones that provides luster revival.
  • Pomegranate Seed Oil – High in antioxidants and vitamin content. Revitalizes and strengthens natural oil that restores hair strands.

BLNDN Save You Cleansing Cream, BLNDN Nourish You Nourishing Conditioner & BLNDN Quench You Quenching ShampooBLNDN Balancing Cream can be used on wet or dry hair to protect, condition and add shine. It is a leave-in product that will instantly repair damaged hair with just a few drops. Use 2-4 pumps on damp hair, leave in and style as usual. Additionally, the balancing cream can be used on dry hair throughout the day to tame flyaways and add extra hydration. Hair will become increasingly restored with regular use.

BLNDN Quenching Shampoo will generate thick, luxurious lather without sulfates or parabens. It will add shine and increase hydration without weighing hair down. A quarter-sized amount of product massaged into hair from the scalp to the ends is what is recommended. I have very long, thick hair, so I used a bit more than that, but I was really pleased with the amount of lather generated and how wonderful my hair felt after even just the first use.

BLNDN Nourishing Conditioner, to be used following the Quenching Shampoo, will nourish and penetrate hair strands without the need to leave it in. Simply incorporate a few pumps of the product, work it through the hair, let it work it’s magic for 2-3 minutes and then rinse.

Elisa Hills and Erika McKellar, blondes with over 20 years in the beauty industry, developed this BLNDN line of hair care products after being unable to find products on the market that met their high standards for maintaining beautiful hair, colored or natural.

I am always wary of spending money on hair products that I know little about, though I will drop some cash on products used on my hair in a salon or recommended by friends and family on occasion if they work well. The three items shown here are definitely winners in my book and will be ones that I will look into using again in the future, definitely! I’m in my 40s now and have noticed that, particularly during the winter months, my hair noticeably loses shine and can look duller and feel more brittle. After using these products for a little over a week now, I have seen a huge difference in my hair already. As a matter of fact, at my family’s Christmas party more than one of the women there commented on how great my hair looked and felt (Yes, they touched my hair & No I don’t normally like to have my hair played with!). But, it was nice to be complimented and have them so interested in what product I’d been using to get these great results.

Other products in the line that look interesting to me are the Keep You Dry Shampoo, Hold You Holding Hairspray and Tousle You Beach Mist. Check out the company’s website to see their full line of beautifying hair products.

In the meantime, a few select BLNDN products are available at the shop link below. Give them a try and maybe tote them along to your next salon appointment for your hairstylist to use when working on your hair. If they’re interested in carrying the product, send them to to find out how to get stocked!
