I love using natural products because they are eco-friendly, budget friendly and have many uses. I also enjoy using beauty oils because they are gentle on my skin. There are a few oils that I love using for many beauty uses. I was sent samples of beauty oils to review in exchange for my honest opinion.
My favorite oils to use include coconut oil and jojoba oil. I also enjoy using essential oils for health and beauty. We are a non-traditional family which is the complete opposite of how I was raised. We do not have health insurance, due to financial reasons. Also, our son has Autism. He will not take traditional medicine. Essential oils are natural and can be applied to skin or inhaled.
I have heard of oil pulling and have tried it a handful of times. Oil Pulling is basically swishing oil, such as sesame oil, sunflower oil or coconut oil in your mouth. It helps with overall oral health. Toxins build up from everyday life and are dumped into the mouth through the salivary glands. Oil Pulling removes the toxins. I have coconut oil on hand and have tried a spoonful. However, swishing oil in my mouth for 15 or more minutes is too much for me. I usually feel sick after a few minutes. I was sent GuruNanda Pulling Oill and it is much better tasting for me and I am able to swish for the recommended 3 minutes. Since it only takes a little bit of time, I swish while getting ready in the morning.
I love coconut oil. I was first introduced to coconut oil when I first started blogging. I was offered the opportunity to review coconut oil and I have been using it ever since. I use it to remove makeup, so I save money on having to buy a separate makeup remover product. I also use it as a leave in conditioner, all over skin moisturizer and as a deep scalp moisturizer. There are literally so many uses for coconut oil! I love the CapriClear Spray-On Moisturizer. My husband uses another brand of spray lotion. He prefers the spray because it is quicker for him to use all over his body. I have also used the CapriClear Spray-On Moisturizer on my son’s skin. It helps soothe his skin naturally. I have also used the coconut oil as carrier oil when I use essential oils on his skin. I mix a spray of coconut oil and a drop or two of essential oils and apply all over his body.
Another great use for CapriClear Spray-On Moisturizer is as a wood furniture polish. One morning, I saw an info-mercial for a furniture polish product that looks amazing. Being on a budget, I decided to search for a natural/diy furniture polish. That is when I discovered that I can use coconut oil! You can find CapriClear online at Drugstore.com and Amazon .
What can I saw about jojoba oil?! I have been using jojoba oil for a few years now. There are many beauty uses, such as makeup remover. It is incredibly gentle when used as an eye makeup remover. It removes my eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara so easily. It is leaves my skin feeling so soft too.
I use jojoba oil as a face moisturizer and it leaves my skin feeling amazing the next day. It absorbs quickly and there is no oily residue. I use 100% Natural Australian Jojoba as an all over skin moisturizer. I use it on my face and body! My skin feels baby soft after applying. I also use it as a leave in conditioner and my hair is left feeling so soft and manageable. Jojoba oil is also safe for all skin types, which means my husband and son can use it.
