TBT Beauty Edition - Oldies but Goodies - Nature's Gate Daily Cleanse Shampoo & Conditioner

Beauty Brite Disclosure

Everyone enjoys Throwback Thursday so let’s take it one step further and do a TBT Beauty Edition! I’m extremely excited to share these Oldies but Goodies with you! I try out a lot of products especially when I am traveling. My hair and skin can really be put through the ringer and need some extra attention and love to get back to health. From hair care to skin care, I hope you enjoy these product suggestions as much as I do!

Looking for some oldie but goodie hair care products? I have recently rediscovered  Nature’s Gate Herbal Daily Cleanse Shampoo and Conditioner.

This duo is heavily scented with Sage, Lavender, Rosemary and Thyme.  At first, I worried about this since my scalp can be sensitive to heavily fragranced products, but this didn’t irritate it at all. I thought it might be a bit messy, but the consistency is very light and easy to work into your scalp. After using the full routine together my hair feels clean and soft. The real test, however, is how long this feeling lasts! I’m happy to report I can easily leave my hair two days without having to re-wash it after using them. I have extremely oily prone hair so this is a huge deal for me! If you are looking for that sun-kissed shine and healthy-looking locks this shampoo and conditioner set will help you get there. I love rediscovering hair care products, it makes my mornings run so much smoother when my hair looks and feel healthy without any extra effort!

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water

Lately, I have also felt like my skin needs a little boost of moisture, which is usually the case as the seasons start to change. The sun dries out my skin and makeup so much. Lately I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water spray. Simply apply your makeup and set it with this thermal Spring water to help lock in your look and keep your makeup from melting away in the hot Summer weather. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, calm and instantly more hydrated. I think this makes a great addition to your makeup regimen. It is easy to use but also easy to travel with making it a perfect all around product. Get really retro and use it as a toner and feel your skin restore itself back to health.

Need another great oldie but goodie? Try the  Bed Head Power Lift Purple Haze Mini Ceramic Crimper – you will thank me later! The weather is getting nice out and I find myself wearing my hair down more often. I have naturally curly hair that would make anyone jealous until the humidity unleashes the frizz. To combat this I have been straightening it smooth. The Bed Head Power Lift Purple Haze Mini Ceramic Crimper gets the job done without damaging or frying it beyond recognition. If you are like me and enjoy those perfect sunshine photos try this out and let us know what you think!
