Gluten-Free Cookies that Your Family will Gobble Up

The perfect cookie that is also an excellent source of protein with no guilt!

I have a HUGE sweet-tooth! Bring me all the cookies – I don’t discriminate on flavor. The problem is that my waist-line does not love cookies nor does my skin as I tend to have negative reactions to high gluten intake; I try to live Gluten-Free.

I tend to stay away from gluten-free desert options as they tend to be bland and have a weird texture. However, now that my daughter is showing signs of inheriting my Keratosis Pilaris, I have tried to incorporate more gluten-free options for snacks.

My daughter also loves sweets. She really enjoys any time that we get to spend together in the kitchen and I love that it pulls her away from electronics, even if just for a moment.

Meli’s Cookies pack tons of flavor into Gluten-Free and High Protein cookie mixes!

Can I tell you how much we LOVE their Original Monster Mix?! Can I had the actual number of cookies that I ate off the cookie sheet before they even had a chance to cool? It was an embarrassingly large number.

Meli’s Cookies are super easy to make, are pre-packaged for ease, and require very few ingredients. All dry mixes feature high quality ingredients and include gluten-free rolled oats.

You will need: a box of Meli’s Cookie dry mix, 1/2 cup of your favorite nut butter, 1 egg, and 4 tablespoons of softened butter.

All ingredients will be added to a large mixing bowl and stirred until combined. Scoop onto a 2 inch ball and add to a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes.

Then try not to burn yourself as you pry them from the pan before they are cool enough to eat.

Meli’s Cookies also feature Choco-Lot and Cashewlicious flavors which are both equally delicious. I can attest as these cookies did not last past the first day in my house.

Don’t Forget Santa’s Milk and Cookies This Christmas

Don't Forget Santa's Milk and Cookies This Christmas

Beauty Brite Disclosure

For as long as I can remember, leaving out milk and cookies for Santa has been the tradition my family has followed. Of course, we leave our Rudolph and his pals carrots as well because who would deliver Santa’s gifts from the North Pole without them?

I have to admit that baking homemade cookies just isn’t my thing. I have tried time and time again to bake them but they NEVER come out like the magazines. Burnt, too hard, undercooked, the wrong shape and about every other worst case scenario is the luck I have when it comes to baking cookies. Now they don’t have to. With Giorgio Cookie Company, I can order my picture perfect cookies ahead of time and avoid the hassle entirely. Santa doesn’t want burnt cookies after all.
