My cookies are usually a big fail, but not this time. Now I’ve heard the buzz about airfryers for a while, but in my head, I think I don’t have room for another kitchen appliance, so I wasn’t interested.
Oh my goodness what a fool I was- an airfryer was exactly what I needed.

There are times when I want to relax and take a hot bath. I honestly haven’t taken a bath in a long time, but I recently whipped up a batch of bath bombs and just love treating myself! I also wanted to start making bath bombs to add to my son’s bath. He loves baths, but I also wanted to add a fun addition to his bath! Get ready for a refreshing experience with the Dried Orange Peel Bath Bombs!
I remember growing up my grandmother had a cherry tree in her backyard and she always had extra cherries in the Spring and Summer to share with us when we visited. Now that I am getting settled in our own place, I am trying new recipes for my son and myself. My son loves muffins and instead of buying muffins at the store, I wanted to start baking again. We recently made a batch of Cherry Almond Muffins and they barely lasted a week!
Strawberry season is picking up in our area of North Carolina. My daughter’s favorite snack is sliced fresh strawberries and popcorn. She’s the kind of gal that likes a little salty with her sweet.
I keep several pints of strawberries in my fridge. We even have a field-trip with her preschool class coming up. We get to tour a local Strawberry Farm and pick our own berries to bring home.
The problem with these sweet berries is that when they’re in season, the go bad quickly. When I overshoot my grocery list and bring too many strawberries home, I have to act fast and find other ways to incorporate them.
