Spring into Tea Time

Spring Into Tea Time

Beauty Brite Disclosure

I’m a bit of tea curator. I don’t drink just any tea. Instead, I have a carefully curated collection of favorites and unique flavors. Of course, I like to change up my flavors with each season. Thanks to The Spice Lab, I’m ready spring into tea time with a selection of their Limited-Edition Spring Teas.

If you’re not familiar with The Spice Lab, they are a woman-owned, family-run business based in Florida. In addition to their loose-leaf teas, they also make spices, seasonings, rubs, Himalayan salt shot glasses, gourmet gift collections, and much more. They were named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies, and have been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine and on NBC’s Today Show.

Last year, they opened their first retail store in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a Florida girl myself, I’m thinking I may need to spring into tea time with a drive across Alligator Alley to do some shopping.

As a typical tea drinker, I tend to opt for the tea bags. They may be quick and easy, but tea bags don’t compare to the flavor of loose leaf teas. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed loose leaf teas until I tasted The Spice Lab’s Cherry Blossom, Orange Vanilla, and Georgia Peach Spring Teas. They have a much richer flavor profile and give me more control over how strong or light I want my tea.

As I mentioned above, the Spring Tea Collection features three limited availability black teas; Orange Vanilla, Cherry Blossom, and Georgia Peach. You can drink them hot or iced, which makes them ideal for the fluctuating temperatures of springtime.

So, what exactly do these taste like? The Spice Lab describes them as…

The Spice Lab Cherry Blossom Tea

Cherry Blossom Infused Black Tea –  A hint of tart cherries flavors this refreshing blend. Luxury ingredients: Black Tea, Safflowers, Cherries and Natural Flavor.

The Spice Lab Orange Vanilla Tea

Orange Vanilla Infused Black Tea –  Bits of orange and the comforting flavor of vanilla flavor this delightful blend. Luxury ingredients; Black Tea, Orange Peel, Vanilla Pieces and Natural Flavor.

The Spice Lab Georgia Peach Tea

Georgia Peach Infused Black Tea – Sweet Georgia peaches flavor this Southern Hospitality blend. Luxury ingredients: Black Tea, Peach Pieces, Marigold Flowers and Natural Flavor.

I really enjoyed each of these teas. I especially liked the simple glass jars they are packaged in, as well as the accompanying spoons. They make measuring out the right amount of tea very easy.

All three of the teas smell amazing and taste very fresh. My favorite though is  Georgia Peach. You can really taste the influence of those sweet peaches in each sip. If you like a fruit-infused tea, you’ll love Georgia Peach. If you’re into more tart teas, I would recommend the Cherry Blossom. And if you enjoy a bit of citrus in your tea, then the Orange Vanilla is the one for you.

The Spice Lab tea party

After trying The Spice Lab teas, I’m feeling very inspired to break out my Grams’ Bone China tea cups so I can host a Spring into Tea Time high tea. Finger sandwiches and tea pastries anyone?
