Self-Care Essentials For This Weekend

Self-Care Essentials For This Weekend
Beauty Brite Disclosure

The weekend is upon us and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t counting down for Saturday. Saturdays are the day in which I can relax from the weekday hustle and recollect myself. I try to make time on Saturdays where I “treat” myself to some much needed TLC and self-care. This treat can be a sweet treat I have seen around or even a new skincare product. This week, I am sharing with you some of my absolute favorite items and I think you’ll be impressed with them too!

Guru Nanda Beauty Serum Set

Guru Nanda Beauty Serum

Guru Nanda is a well known and extremely budget-friendly Essential Oil company. I have seen their Essential Oils on my local Walmart shelf for a while now and have purchased several. When I came across their Beauty Serum Set, I instantly knew this was going to be a must-have set for me. If this kit doesn’t scream self-care, nothing will!

The Guru Nanda Beauty Serum Set comes with 6 essential oil blends that can be used directly on your skin. That means no worries about using a carrier agent or doing the math on ratios.

The Guru Nanda Beauty Serum set comes with essential oils for pretty much ALL beauty-related skincare “problems”.

  • Moisturizing – A blend of Jojoba, Almond, Sandalwood, Roman Chamomile, and Lavender.
  • Clear Skin – A blend of Evening Primrose, Apricot Kernel, Frankincense, Tea Tree, German Chamomile, and Lavender.
  • Under Eye Night – A blend of Rosehip, Camellia, Sea Buckthorn, Coffee CO2, Lemon, and Frankincense.
  • Lip Plumper – A blend of Jojoba, Avocado, Peppermint, and Cassia.
  • Glow – A blend of Jojoba, Rosehip, Neroli, Turmeric, Sandalwood, and Geranium.
  • Age Defy – A blend of Jojoba, Rosehip, Helichrysum, Sandalwood, and Ylang Ylang.

Nubian Heritage

Nubian Heritage Indian Hemp Hare Care Line

My hair is long, wavy, and thick. The length of my hair is tricky. If I wash too often, I am left with dried out knotted hair. If I wait too long I am left fighting oily roots and stringy ends. Nubian Heritage offers a Co-wash for cleaning my hair in between deep cleans as well as a deep conditioner for instances when my hair needs a little extra love and moisture. They just released a new Indian Hemp Hair Collection as well as an Olive Oil Hair Collection. Both of which you can find at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Nubian Heritage also offers a TON of skincare products ranging from shampoos to body washes and lotions. There’s something for everyone. Want to check some more of their products out and what Beauty Brite writers had to say? We love Nubian Heritage.

Costa Farms

Another one of my favorite ways to treat myself is with plants. They serve a dual purpose. Great for home decor which lifts my mood but they also purify the air. Costa Farms has an incredible selection of plants that you can find at Home Depot, Walmart, Amazon, and even Lowes. Their website also offers a nifty tool that helps decide which plants are best for the environment you plan to place them in.

Numi Premium Matcha

Numi Organic Tea Matcha Green Tea Latte

One final thing I like to include in my self-care Saturday is Numi’s Premium Matcha. Matcha, in general, is beneficial for anxiety, weight loss, digestive health, and clearer skin. Match also offers tons of other benefits too. Numi Premium Matcha is organic, non-GMO, Kosher and Halal certified and made with 100% real ingredients. It also helps that Numi sells a premade Matcha Green Tea Latte that only requires a half milk or water to half matcha ratio. This is crazy convenient for when there’s a commercial on this weekends Lifetime Movie release. Numi also offers a Citrus Matcha which is an excellent addition to your self-care routine with its refreshing flavor and health benefits.
