Beauty Brite Disclosure

Most of my adult life I have suffered from acne. Because I frequently mess with my face, I also have acne scaring and enlarged pores. To be quite honest, my skin sucks. I often jump on bandwagons to try the latest craze or switch from one top ranked skin care line to the next trying to find relief from painful, cystic acne. However, even with the extensive list of products out there, I have a hard time finding anything that will tackle the deep craters that are my acne scars.

Roll your Way to Better Skin with SkinRehab Dermaroller * Cytnhia Rowland

Did you know that without using a SkinRehab Dermaroller, your skin will only absorb about 4% of your skincare product? Did you know that after using a Dermaroller, that absorption rate increases to 80%? By boosting that absorption rate, you’re also increasing the collagen and elastin production within your skin.

  • target fine lines and wrinkles
  • reduce the appearance of acne scars
  • reduce pore size
  • correct hyper-pigmentation

To get started, pick the correct needle size. SkinRehab Dermaroller by Cynthia Rowland offers two options. 1.5 mm for fine lines and wrinkles or 2.0 mm for deeper scaring. Start with clean skin. Remember that these needles are sharp, so roll gently. Roll your Dermaroller only 3 or 4 times – horizontal, vertically and then diagonally across your cheeks, forehead, lower mouth, upper lip and even very gently under your eyes. After use, apply a regenerative serum such as Cell Renewal. Cell Renewal by Cynthia Rowland offers Epidermal Growth Factor, Cellular Repair Serum, Retinol, Vitamin C Serum.

Important things to remember:

  • Disinfect before & after each use with alcohol
  • DO NOT SHARE your device
  • Use this device once a month. More is not better. After all, you’re stabbing your face with needles. Give your skin time to recuperate and heal.

SkinRehab System for Acne and Scaring

I was given the opportunity to try the SkinRehab Dermaroller and Cell Renewal Serum. So far, I’ve used this system about 2-3 times. I haven’t been able to tell the difference on my own skin (do we ever really notice the improvements in ourselves?) but I’ve had family and friends comment on the improved overall appearance. My boyfriend has told me that my pores appear to be smaller and he can tell that my makeup sits more evenly and looks better by the end of the day than it did before.

However, the first couple of times that I used the Dermaroller I found that it hurt a bit. I would have liked to start at a needle size of 1.0mm and worked my way up to 1.5mm and then 2.0mm. After a couple of uses, I got used to the sensation and found no irritation.
