Picture Hanging Made Easy

Picture hanging is the bane of my existence! I hate having to ask my husband for help, lords knows he does enough work around our house. I’m also a short gal, I don’t have the patience for standing on a step stool and trying to steady myself with a measuring tape to get the right dimensions.  I’m horrible at estimating where and how to hang something, which is usually what I end up resorting to. This makes me sad because decorating is one of my greatest passions and it has quickly become my biggest frustration.

When I first heard about the Hang-O-Matic, I was overjoyed by the idea of trying out something that would simplify a difficult task for me! I was a little skeptical about a product that claimed to “do-it-all,” but I thought I’d give it a shot and hope for the best.

First, the Hang-O-Matic uses two sliding anchors that make it very easy to measure the distance between two picture hangers. After you’ve calculated your measurements, the bubble level made it easy for me to see if my picture was nice and straight. Press both ends of the Hang-O-Matic into the wall and it easily marked where I needed to hammer in the nails. It was that simple; quick, easy, and I needed no assistance!

Once I’d mastered how to use the Hang-O-Matic, I decided to tackle a little Pinterest project I’d been wanting to do for awhile. I’ve been seeing these awesome walls with pictures hung in a fun, abstract way and had been really wanting to try it out on a large wall in my kitchen. If done incorrect or sloppy, it had the potential to look like a real Pinterest fail instead of a creative win. Last weekend we were going to be celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday by having friends and family over for a party. I really wanted to debut my creative wall idea when they all came over for the birthday party!

With the Hang-O-Matic, I was successfully able to get every picture up perfectly and without any help! I’m really proud of the way my artsy little wall turned out! I received a lot of positive compliments from our friends and family during my husband’s party. They all wanted to know what my secret was for tackling such a big job all by myself.

The Hang-O-Matic is a great present to give and receive, it is useful and sure to be appreciated! It’s so easy to hang your pictures, mirrors, flat-screen televisions, etc.
