Magic Minerals

Beauty Brite Disclosure
I seriously love mineral makeup! Ever since I first heard about it and tried it the same year my son was born, I have not tried any other foundation on my face. Before mineral makeup, I used to use the store bought pressed foundation that always looked cakey and fake on my face. When I was asked to review Magic Minerals, I quickly accepted. I received a sample of Magic Minerals to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

About the product:

Legendary makeup artist Jerome Alexander understood this when he developed his best-selling Magic Minerals, a pressed ultra-fine mineral powder compact. Magic Minerals is the alternative approached to mineral makeup that delivers flawless coverage resulting in healthy-looking and glowing skin. The new Magic Minerals is now enhanced with nourishing antioxidants vitamin E and vitamin C in a proprietary formula with four different color-correcting specks; pink, mint, lavender and yellow.

When I received my Magic Minerals kit, I read the packaging to learn more about the product. It is an “As Seen on TV” product, however, I have never heard of it. We do not watch a lot of television and we had no had cable television stations for a few years. Now that we have very basic cable, we are watching TV here and there. As I read the packaging, I was not impressed with where the product is made. I was disappointed to learn that the product is not made in the USA.

I decided to try Magic Minerals this past weekend. I was not sure how it would work with my skin so I prefer to use new products on my face on the weekends. Even though the product includes color-correcting ingredients, I still use another brand of mineral concealer for extra coverage.

I love that the mineral powder is in a compact with a mirror. I can easily travel with Magic Minerals without worrying about the product getting all over my bag. The minerals were easy to apply and blend into my skin. The makeup is lightweight on my skin. It does not look cakey or fake at all. I love how natural it looks on my face. You cannot tell I am wearing makeup.

I am impressed with how well Magic Minerals looks natural and feels nice on my face. Very easy to apply and works with my skin tone.
