Japonesque Color Collection Brushes

Japonesque Color Collection Brushes
Beauty Brite Disclosure

When I was asked to review makeup brushes, I quickly accepted. I received the Eye Shadow Fluff and Foundation Brush to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

About the products:

This five brush collection creates a sensational synergy between beauty product and application by combining Japonesque’s finest quality brush line with the bespoke color collection swirls. Featuring Lip, Eye Shadow Crease, Eye Shadow Fluff, Foundation and Face Brushes, these brushes will be sure to brighten your daily makeup routine. Made by a hand gel dipping process, no two brush handles are the same! With a color by numbers concept, each color collection brush matches the appropriate Japonesque cosmetics gel top product. For example blue brushes correlate with eye products and their blue gel color tops!

When I opened the package, I was a little disappointed that I only received two brushes from the collection to review. I was expecting to receive one of each from the collection.

Besides my disappointment, I am impressed with the brushes handles! I love how unique they are and that there are no two alike. I tried going to the website to see how to use the brushes but the descriptions did not contain instructions. The packaging also did not explain how to use the brushes. I am confused as to how the Foundation Brush can be used for foundation. I use it as a concealer brush. To me, foundation brush refers to using all over the face. I am used to using mineral makeup, so I use a kabuki like brush to apply my foundation.

I love the Eye Shadow Fluff brush. I have another eye shadow brush from another brand just like it. The Japonesque brush is fuller and easier to maneuver and apply my eye shadow. When I use the Eye Shadow Fluff brush, it is easier to blend the colors to make it more natural and get the look I want.

You can find the Japonesque collection at Ulta. The collection ranges from $16 – $32.

These are pretty brushes. The handles look very pretty from what I can see, would have been nice to see them a little closer up though.
