We all love something new. New means a new beginning. Something new to try! Whether it is a new pair of shoes or a new workout program, new is fun!
I am doing my best to stay motivated with fitness! A few weeks ago, I started walking around my complex once a day. I walked in the morning because the weather is warming up quick and when the afternoon hits, the sun and humidity do too! This week, I started walking twice a day! My walks are between two and a half to three miles!
I have a nice selection of workout DVDs and I like to switch them up! My workout DVDs consist of cardio, weight training, pilates and yoga. I have noticed that I get bored quickly so I am trying to do different routines.
A great way to stay motivated is to spoil yourself with new clothing! I find it difficult to skip a workout when I have chic looking clothes to wear! My workout clothes are basic, affordable and old. I know my workout wardrobe need an upgrade!
Since my clothes are bland, I wanted bright and colorful! I received the Streets V Top in Lilac and the Bayou Booty Crop Tight in Limeade Kaleidoscope. I’ve never had such cute and chic looking workout clothing before. I wanted comfortable and cute clothing to wear no matter what fitness program I am doing! I chose the crops because of the side pocket. I can wear these when I am walking and keep my phone in the pocket!
By the way, both the top and crops are comfortable to wear any time of day!
Foam rollers are a new concept to me. I love the idea of massaging my muscles, especially after intense workouts. A few years ago, I used to do several intense cardio workouts and I was always left sore for days after!
While I no longer do intense workouts, I do want to stretch out and massage my muscles after walking! I think it is a great way to focus on my muscles!
