Have a Sweet Day with Assorted Swedish Gummies

Snacks disappear quickly in my house. For some reason, it always seems that the gummies are the first to go and more often than not, it’s my big kid (the 30 year old spouse) that snatches them all up. I try to peak my toddler’s interest with name brand gummy snacks but she seems to want fruit roll ups instead. Obviously I want them to eat healthier but that’s not going to happen. Instead, I try to swap their favorites for natural alternatives that have no hard to pronounce chemicals.

The Candy People Offer Non-GMO Gummies in All Flavors:

The Candy People started in a small town in Southern Sweden with a tiny candy shop. After 35 years, they have expanded to selling worldwide in over 40 countries. Their gummies are always free of high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, and GMOs. Their gummy snacks have been a HUGE hit with my toddler who usually is such a picky eater.

  • Swedish Dala Horse: Raspberry, citrus, and pineapple flavored gummy candy shaped like hand-carved wooden toy horses. Non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, free of synthetic colors, gelatin free, and gluten free
  • Sour Viking: Strawberry, pear, cherry, black currant, lemon, and orange flavored sour gummy candy inspiried by the cheiftain-led Scandinavian tribes from the Viking Age. Non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, free of synthetic colors and flavors, gelatin free, and vegan
  • Sour Melon Logs: Sour watermelon flavored candy shaped like the old logs found in the mystical forest of Trollskogen in Sweden ‘The Forest of Trolls’. Non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, free of synthetic colors, gelatin free
  • Gummy Kicks: mixed fruit flavored gummy candy shaped like sneakers with tutti frutti soles. Non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, free of synthetic colors
  • Sour Skulls: Sour mixed fruit flavored gummy candy shaped like the popular candies enjoyed by Swedes of all ages on Lordagsgodis or “Saturday Candies’. Non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, free of synthetic colors, gelatin free, and gluten free
  • Sugar Free Cola Bottles: Cola flavored gummy candies shaped like everyone’s favorite soda bottle. Cola is the most popular soft drink in Sweden, except during Christmas when Julmust or “Christmas Juice” takes the place of cola. Sweetened with Maltitol and Stevia, Fat Free, and Gluten Free
  • Sugar Free Pigs: Strawberry flavored marshmallow candy inspired by the importance of the pig in the Scandinavian culture. Early tribes practicing the Old Norse religion portrayed the animal as sacred with bristles made of gold. Maltitol and Stevia, Fat Free, and Gluten Free
  • Sugar Free Exotic Fruit: Tropical fruit flavored gummy candy inspired by Sweden’s love of fresh produce from exotic lands. While not native or easily grown, Swedes nevertheless will eat a whopping 40 pounds of tropical fruit each year. Maltitol and Stevia, Fat Free, Gelatin Free and Gluten Free
  • Sugar Free Fish: Berry flavored gummy candy shaped like the herring fish (known as stromming in Swedish). Maltitol and Stevia, Fat Free, Gelatin Free and Gluten Free

My toddler’s favorite is the Sugar Free Pigs gummies. She loves the soft, marshmallow texture and the strawberry flavor. I love that she has no idea that it is sugar free and has no trans fat! She can eat as many as she wants without me feeling guilty. My husband loves the Sour Vikings gummies and ate almost the entire bag in one sitting! We have one bag of each flavor and I plan to purchase more for everyone’s Christmas stocking this year since they were such a hit.

Are these anything like Swedish Fish gummy candies? Those are one of my favorites!
