Gift Guide For The Mom-To-Be

Gift Guide For The Mom-To-Be -- The Jojoba Company Australia, Belli Skin Care, My Baby's Heartbeat Bear Collection, Nurture Smart Baby Mobile

Beauty Brite Disclosure

Hello there everyone! My name is Kansas and I’m the mother of three beautiful children and one on the way. I’m always looking for things that are great for use during pregnancy or with a new baby.

Are you a mom-to-be?

Have a baby shower coming up or throwing one for someone else?

We’ve got you covered with some must-have’s you’re sure to love.

Baby Oil

First, let’s talk about The Jojoba Company Australia 100% Natural Baby Oil. This stuff is amazing! I usually have issues with baby oils having a really strong smell but this one has an easy smell that’s not overpowering. It absorbs deep into the skin to keep it feeling soft and moisturized.

The 100% Natural Baby Oil is based from jojoba grown in Australia. It’s full of vitamins A, D, and E. Can be used for everything from massage to diaper rash.

My 18-month-old suffers from bad cradle cap and I just used a small amount of 100% Natural Baby Oil in the bath and rubbed on the places that were bad and found that it works better than most everything else I have tried so far.

You can find The Jojoba Company Australia products at Amazon, Walmart, or from The Jojoba Company’s website.

Heartbeat, Mom

This adorable little guy is from My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear Collection. I love this little critter so much! There are sixteen different animals that you can choose from, as you can see I chose the vintage sloth. There is everything from bears to monkeys, lambs, elephants, and much more.

How does it work? It comes with a red heart battery recorder that captures the sound of your baby’s heartbeat. You can record up to 20 seconds worth of sound. This will make a wonderful pregnancy keepsake and the perfect baby shower gift.

You can find them at Amazon, Sears, or from the company’s website.

Raise your hands if you’re tired — if the circles under your eyes have circles! Being a new mommy means lack of sleep and rest, but I think I’ve found an easy way to combat tired eyes. Belli® offers an array of really awesome skin products. The Belli® Eye Brightening Cream helps revitalize those tired eyes. Enriched with Vitamin K and Vitamin B3 it restores skin and helps reduce lines and boost the healthy glow around your eyes. This is a great product for mom’s to be or seasoned moms alike.

Skin care, Scrub

Growing a baby can be hard on the body, especially your skin. Belli® Fresh Start Pre-Teatment Scrub and Belli® Strechmark Minimizing Cream are here to help!

First, use the Pre-Treatment Cream 2-3 times per week to get rid of that pesky dead skin layer. The peppermint oil gives your skin a nice tingly feeling and leaves your skin feeling refreshed!

Next, use the Stretchmark Minimizing Cream. This cream is OB/GYN and Dermatologist recommended for skin restoration. Simply apply to problem areas once in the morning and once at night for about 4 weeks, then switch to once a day when desired results are achieved.

Looking to add these products to your daily skin care regimen? You can find Belli® Skin Care products at Amazon, SkinStore, or from the company’s website.

Baby

Finally, we have the Nurture Smart Mobile from More Than Play. This thing is AMAZING! I’ve never seen a mobile quite like it. It comes with a night light that is also a projector and features five sound selections from a heart beat to lullabies. Also included are a large mirror and six images for baby to look at.

Mobiles work best for babies 0-5 months. I love how easy this attaches to the crib and there are no loose parts for little one to choke on. It makes putting them to sleep even easier. In my opinion, this is a must-have item for baby’s nursery.

You can find it at More Than Play.

There you have it! These are some of my very favorite products to care for myself as well as my babies. What are your go-to products when trying to balance caring for yourself and baby?

I like to paint my fingernails and toenails…usually just a clear or a really light pink nail polish. My kids are all grown up now and no grand babies yet, but when they were little I liked to give them a nice bubble bath.

These are awesome baby shower gift ideas. I always like to give something that is for the mom because they get so many baby specific things.

  14. I love the sloth that shows off all the vitals of your baby and you can give it back years later. I wish I had some of those treatments for stretch marks for when I was pregnant.

  15. No expecting mommies on my end but I have a few who just became parents. I guess it’s not too late to share some gifts!

  16. Expecting mommas should be pampered and spoiled! They deserve it most especially sonce they’ll be dedicating most of their time to their babies once the babies are born. These are all lovely gift ideas!

  22. Great ideas. I usually swore by the Miracle Blanket Swaddles. They got me through my three babies and really made swaddling much easier.

  23. I LOVE the Jojoba Co, and jojoba oil is safe and perfect for babies.

  24. I always struggle what to give in baby showers! This list makes it so easy.

  25. The eye cream – what a great idea! I love the mobile too. When I was going to a lot of baby showers, I usually fell back on a wrap carrier of some sort. I used one with all three of my babies and it was a lifesaver!

  26. The sloth is adorable! I don’t if I’ve ever seen a soft cuddly sloth before, what a perfect unique gift!
