Getting Whiter Teeth While Restoring Enamel

New Dental Products from Rembrandt and Plackers
Beauty Brite Disclosure

I have to admit that I’ve never been the best at taking great care of my teeth. I spent the money on an electric brush, and I use special toothpaste for people with sensitive gums and prone to bleeding. I’ve never had the best of luck with dentists, so I don’t like going. Because of this, I had $2,000 worth of dental work.

The good news, there are some things that I can take care of on my own, and that’s strengthening and restoring the enamel while working on getting my teeth three shades whiter. I recently had the opportunity to test out new and improved Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste with Peroxide in Peppermint from Rembrandt $6.99 / 3.5 oz).

Will Your Teeth Get Three Shades Whiter?

Before my dental issues, I used Rembrandt toothpaste regularly. I have a little discoloring on my teeth. Long story short, when I had my braces taken off, they didn’t get all of the cement off. In those spots, my teeth got pretty yellow. I tried doing teeth whitening strips, but they caused my gums to burn. It was very unpleasant.

Five years later, I decided to try out these products. I have to state again that my gums are extremely sensitive. They get red and will bleed pretty easily. There was some minor pain when I used it, but nothing like with the white strips or other whitening toothpaste that I’ve used in the past. So, if you have some sensitivity, you should be okay. However, if you’ve had similar issues as I have, be a little cautious.

Rembrandt products are excellent and have done wonders for my teeth. I wouldn’t say my teeth got three shades whiter, but there’s an improvement. My teeth aren’t really that yellow, but they’re not as white as I would like. I had a dentist remove the old cement, so that’s gone, but in those areas, it’s a little yellow.

Bonus Items: Dental Flossers

Every time I go to the dentist, they give me some samples of the dental flossers. Full disclosure, I never use them. These are from the brand Plackers, and they’re the Mega Mint Dental Flossers ($9.69 / 4 pack of 65). As you are flossing, you’re getting a minty blast to freshen your breath. I do like them, but they’re a little awkward for me to use.

Overall Thoughts

I’ve been a fan of Rembrandt for a long time. While the toothpaste is good, my gums are too sensitive for the whitening formula. If your gums are not sensitive, I would absolutely recommend this. Rembrandt is one of the top brands for teeth whitening.
