It won’t be long before the new Star Wars movie,”The Last Jedi,” hits theaters! My family is very excited to see the newest film. Tickets for opening night sold out quickly at all of the movie theaters around us. It just goes to show you that you can’t go wrong with Star Wars. It’s beloved by so many people, enjoyed by both sexes and a wide range of ages.
It’s not very difficult for most people to find at least one Star Wars fan on their Christmas List. For me, that’s my husband and my son.
This Christmas, I’m gifting the LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca Building Kit as a present to them both. My little guy is in Kindergarten, and I think this will be a great project they can work on together during those snowy days at home in the winter during the Christmas break from school. Working on a project like this with his Dad will help him further build team work skills, teach him the value of hard work, and the satisfaction of a job well done with a ton of fun thrown in.
I think the LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca Building Kit is great because children will feel important putting together this special project. It encourages analytical and strategic thinking, requiring dedication and concentration to complete the task. When it’s finished, children can enjoy what their hard work has yielded – an awesome figure of their favorite Star Wars character! Everyone will love Chewie’s posable body and incredibly detailed face and fur.
For young children, like my son, I recommend having a parent help out with putting the kit together. The LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca Building Kit is generally recommended for children ages 8-14.
Chewie comes with some cool additional features, such as his Bowcaster Weapon with a spring loaded shooter and a removable ammo belt with an additional bag. I know my son will have so much fun bringing this to his friend’s house, and I like that it is incredibly durable for when the boys will play together.
I highly recommend the LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca Building Kit for the Star Wars fan on your list. It’s fun for families to do together, and for older children, they can display it in their room as part of their bedroom decor! My husband also thought it would look nicely displayed in an office or media room.
