I’ll be the first one to say that I don’t take care of myself the way I should. Not for lack of wanting to but as a mom of four little ones six and under, I usually just don’t have the time. So I’ve been looking for ways to help me keep track of sleep, eating, and my everyday well-being. I usually try and make sure the kids are so well taken care of but I forget all about myself. As summer starts winding down, it’s time again to start thinking about back to school. Parents and kids alike are looking forward to going back to school and getting this new year started. This is the first year that I will have a child old enough for school. She will be starting Kindergarten and is so excited! We have already started getting her supplies and just bought her, her very first back pack. She asks almost every week if it’s time to start at her big girl school yet.
The holidays have come and gone. The temperatures are plummeting and winter is in full splendor. I don’t know about you, but I could use some extra pampering this time of year. I’ve found just the thing to rescue me from head to toe with cruelty-free products from Beterre Skin+Care.
We love purchasing some of our favorite bubbly beverages to enjoy throughout the year. I was first introduced to all things Champagne from a friend of mine who calls them her life line! Personally, I was always stayed on the sweeter side of things and only experimented with wines. After discovering Prosecco I was hooked on bubbles in my drink!
I forgot what it is like to feel so energized throughout the day! It has been a few years since I have been able to workout in the morning and really feel great about myself! I went back to work full time after several years of being a stay at home mom. It was quite a shock too. I would come home so tired and exhausted and not want to work out. I would get up early just to get ready for work instead of working out. Now that I am a stay at home mom again, I am working on myself for 2016!
My Goals for 2016
Are you the type to make goals for yourself? Every New Year, I try to make changes. I don’t like to call them resolutions because that would set me up for failure. My biggest change I made was at the end of 2013, I wanted to be more organized with our paperwork. I spent my New Year’s Eve getting organized after several years of just throwing our paperwork in a box.
Hello 2015! I cannot believe we are here. Today is my 12th Wedding Anniversary! One dozen years! Our son’s 9th Birthday is in 2 days.
Happy New Year’s Day! Today is my Eleventh Wedding Anniversary! I woke up this morning at around 2:50AM because my husband’s cell phone was ringing! I was able to fall back asleep about two hours later until my son woke me up after a few hours more of sleep.
