Adorable Unicorn Soap You’ll Share With Your Friends

I may not have a daughter, I still love girly things. I grew up watching My Little Pony and many other cartoons. While unicorns weren’t as mainstream when I was growing up, I do remember having colorful unicorn stickers, coloring books, and puzzles. I recently found some toy unicorns and decided to make my own unicorn soap!

The Best Seat Outside With SunBriteTV Veranda Series with HDR

Last year, I was introduced to the SunBriteTV Veranda series, the television made for outdoors and as I look back on the post, it reminds of how much has changed in a year! First foremost, the biggest change for my son and myself is that we have since moved into our own home! I am officially a homeowner!

Change is good. I believe that people should be open to change. I know it can be difficult for my son, but he eventually adapts. Do you embrace change? Making changes is tough, but when you look back how and why it happened, it’s usually for good.

Summer Fun with This 3D Board Game

Summer break is almost here and I am already “tired” of hearing, “I’m Bored”. It happens every year. The first few days of summer are a bliss. Sleeping in, relaxing, and unwinding from the constant motion of a school time routine. After those first few days though, it turns into a constant mantra of “I’m Bored”. It’s inevitable. One of my favorite ways to get through this boredom, however, is board games.

Traveling with Little Ones; How we Survive the Trip

Tips to Make your Vacation Travels Easier and Stress Free

Our house is truly blessed by family who have vacation homes for us to use each year. My cousin has a beach house and offers us a discounted rate for our summer vacations.

Planning the trip is always easy. Getting there, however, is always a pain in the butt. I usually have a toddler and small dog in tow and it is difficult traveling without pulling out my hair.

Fears of a Type 1 Diabetic

Type 1 Diabetes is scary and stressful. Let’s just say it’s life-changing, not only for the person diagnosed but for everyone around them as well. Hearing the diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes invokes a list of fears. Fears for not only you but for those around you. I was 7 when I was diagnosed and still remember it like it was yesterday. Falling asleep in class, frequent trips to the bathroom and constantly thirsty. One trip to the doctor and there I was in the hospital with my family being told the news. The news that I had extremely high blood sugar and I was a Type 1 Diabetic.

We Switched To Natural Hair And Beauty Essentials

I like to switch up my haircare products between natural and the name or store brands you may find at any retailer.  I recently switched my son over to a natural deodorant and he’s already using a natural shampoo bar and body bar. It was only fitting to switch to a natural shampoo bar for myself. We switched to natural hair and beauty essentials and we’re excited to share what we found!

I am always looking to simplify my life whether by organic clothing, food/cooking, beauty, fitness, health, and wellness. When I use natural shampoo and conditioner, I always like to keep a brand name to use at least once a week. Natural hair care tends to leave my hair feeling heavy and look greasy!

Easy Nutella Chocolate Cookies

While I love Nutella and any other brand of hazelnut spread, I don’t like to eat it all the time.  It is a nice treat to enjoy here and there. Of course, there are many ways to enjoy such a delicious treat.
