When You Start Your Morning With Fitness

I forgot what it is like to feel so energized throughout the day! It has been a few years since I have been able to workout in the morning and really feel great about myself! I went back to work full time after several years of being a stay at home mom. It was quite a shock too. I would come home so tired and exhausted and not want to work out. I would get up early just to get ready for work instead of working out. Now that I am a stay at home mom again, I am working on myself for 2016!

Yesterday morning, I decided to jump on my treadmill! After putting my son on the bus, I walked and jogged for about a half hour!

As the day went on, I realized I wasn’t feeling sluggish and tired as I have been!

Last year, I even started drinking more coffee each day. On average, I would have 3 cups of coffee a day. Yesterday, I only had one cup!

I also found that when I start my day with exercise, I am more likely to eat better for the rest of the day! After having a really great day, I am going to aim for walking and jogging first thing in the morning! I have missed this feeling of positive energy!

I invested in a treadmill because I didn’t want to give myself any excuses. Our community does have a gym but I knew I wouldn’t use it. Also, I didn’t want the weather to keep me from walking. Having a treadmill in our small apartment is perfect for me. If you are the type to prefer a gym, go for it! Make time for your fitness!

Do you prefer working out in the morning, afternoon or evening? I have tried walking and jogging on my treadmill in the afternoon and I just felt so sluggish. I really had to force myself to do it. I have the most energy in the morning, so I like to workout in the morning and feel energized all day!
