Tips & Tricks: The Key to Thicker, Fuller Hair

When I think of anti-aging and aging in general, I always think of skin care. While I have not experienced significant hair loss yet, I am not looking forward to when it will start happening. When I look at my older family members, I know it will happen for me. That is why I have started my anti-aging journey for my hair.

Here are a few tips & tricks for thicker and fuller hair:

1. Use the right tools

First and foremost, it starts with using the right tools. I was taught to always use a wide tooth comb for wet hair. I don’t think I really owned a brush either. I always used a comb. Thankfully, my hair is very easy to manage; it is straight and untangles easily when I use conditioner.

There are other options now! You can use a brush that is safe for wet and dry hair. I use a particular brand that I use after showering and on my dry hair. I also have the same brand of brush that my husband uses and I use one on my son’s hair.

2. Use conditioner and/or beauty oils

If you have long hair like I do, conditioner helps to keep my hair feeling soft and manageable. I am able to comb or brush right through it after showering. Less pulling, tugging and less hair loss for me!

My husband has thin hair. I wish he would use natural beauty oils to help keep his hair shiny and healthy. Natural beauty oils, such as argan oil, coconut oil and jojoba oil help keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. I can also use either of them for a deep conditioning.

You can also choose to skip the conditioner and just use beauty oils as your leave in conditioner. Beauty Oils have many other uses, which is why I use them. It helps me save money by using one product in many different ways.

3. Style your hair

When I style my hair, it instantly looks thicker and fuller. All I have to do is use a flat iron or curling iron to curl the ends of my hair! I prefer to use a flat iron because it is easier and quicker for me. My hair looks bouncy and gorgeous! My hair has a natural shine in the light from using my beauty oil!

Women’s ROGAINE® Foam is easy to apply just once a day. It can be used in the morning or evening.
Women’s ROGAINE® Foam can be used on chemically processed or color treated hair and with any of your styling products.

Women’s ROGAINE® Foam is a long term solution. It does take several weeks to see results. I started using the foam a few weeks ago. I follow the directions and use only half a capful or less and apply to my scalp. I have thinning hair around the hairline on my forehead. When I put my hair in a ponytail, it always looks thin all along my hairline. I also apply the foam on my natural part of my head and my hairline. The foam is incredibly easy to use and does not weigh my hair down.

Women’s ROGAINE® Foam

I apply Women’s ROGAINE® Foam on my scalp in the morning and it does not make my hair look greasy. The foam easily dissolves and blends in my scalp and hair. I am so thankful I don’t have to worry about it making my hair look dirty and greasy. You can choose to use the foam in the evening or morning. If you apply before showering, you need to leave it in for at least 4 hours. I find it easier to apply it in the morning.
