Being a mom is hard work, being a new mom is even harder. No matter if you are having your first or coming up on your fourth like me, it brings a whole new truck load of challenges. Things change when you become a mom, from having all the time in the world to being able to feel lucky if you can grab a shower. Some days it just doesn’t happen and that’s ok. I’ve found a few fun gifts for the new mom in your life.
Ahh, wonderful spring time! The birds are busy chirping, squirrels are building nests, and many parents around the country are busy preparing for a new addition. With this new addition comes a fun and loving baby shower to help the new parents prepare for their new arrival and make things just a little easier. One of the most fun things moms to be love to do is making their registry. There are so many cute products for babies now, it is hard to narrow down the list. Here are three unique and must have baby shower gifts to give to any mom to be.
Being pregnant was such an amazing time in my life. We had battled with infertility for years and when I knew my son was actually going to make it I was ecstatic. Thinking about names was such a stressful time. As a child I grew up with a name everyone had, “Elizabeth”. May not seem so common but when I was little we had 9 in my class.
Every year I struggle what to give my mother for Mother’s Day. She is my best friend, my rock, my son’s beloved grandmother and nothing seems to measure up. We do everything from traveling to shopping together and I could never thank her enough for that. Luckily for me she has a great sense of humor and a sweet tooth! This year we decided to treat her to gourmet, Bauli Mini Croissants for Mother’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is often seen as a holiday dedicated to romance and passion, but most importantly, it honors love. Growing up, my parents always included me on Valentine’s Day; picking me up a little something special to remind me how much they loved me. I have also continued that tradition within my own household. I usually like to pick out something heartfelt that we can participate in together.
