Love Is In The Air

Love Is In The Air - Valentines Day 2017

All holidays are a fun time at our house. We don’t get all crazy and plan huge splashy, fancy parties. But, I do always do a little something for my kids for holidays from Valentine’s Day and Easter to Halloween and Christmas.

I’ve always made little Valentine’s Day themed treat bags, buckets or baskets for each of my three children. They are all probably a little too old for this now being that they are 13, 17 and 23. But, I still enjoy making them and they love receiving them, so I don’t plan on stopping this tradition anytime in the near future!… [read more]

Heavenly Holidays Start With Chocolate - Hershey's Chocolate Kisses

Beauty Brite Disclosure

Do you have any holiday traditions in your house? No matter what holiday it is, from Thanksgiving and Christmas to Valentine’s Day and Easter, Hershey’s Kisses are a staple ingredient of holiday prep for me. I always have a candy dish full of Hershey’s Kisses themed for the relevant holiday and I usually use them to make cookies or desserts, too!

Easter Goodies From My Moms

Easter Goodies From My Moms

Easter is already upon us… eek! Where did the time go?! I love to pretty up my house for all the different holidays, but I’m kinda lazy about it. Easy Easter Crafts

Easter Crafts 1 & 2 - finished products

Easter is right around the corner, less than a week away. If you are like me, you always have great ideas for holiday crafts or decorations that you’d love to make. Though I have all of these great ideas that I gather from various sources, I always seem to find myself leaving the actual execution of these ideas until the last minute – often until it’s too late to actually complete them. For once, last year, I actually was on point and got two easy, fun Easter crafts completed (with my daughter’s assistance) before the Easter holiday passed me by.

Even though there is less than a week until Easter, these two crafts are so easy (you may even already have the items required in your home) that you can probably get them done very quickly. However, even if you don’t, anything you may need can very easily be found in your favorite local stores…. [read more]
