Every Friday night we’ve developed a special ritual in our house: Family Movie Night. At the end of a long week, it’s a chance to come together, bond, and reconnect as a family unit. Each of us has really come to look forward to these special Friday nights!
Make some popcorn, get your favorite snuggly blanket and park your derriere on the couch for some down time with your kids this holiday season while they’re on winter break from school. These Lionsgate Entertainment kids’ DVDs will make great stocking stuffers, and an added bonus is that they won’t melt in your kids’ hands or get ground into the carpet like the candies and treats Santa typically puts in children’s stockings. It’s a win-win!
Friday evenings have become movie night in our household. It’s a chance for us to order our favorite food, relax together as a family, and have a few laughs. My son really enjoys movies with lots of action and adventure; finding new options he likes can be a challenge for me. I was really excited when I had the chance to check out Lionsgate’s newest release, The Adventures of Panda Warrior!
My family recently decided to have a Family Movie Night. We watched Norm of the North from Lionsgate Entertainment, Inc., an animated family comedy. Norm of the North has recently been released on Blu-Ray, DVD and On Demand formats (including Digital HD for downloading to your favorite devices).

When I received Open Season: Scared Silly, I was so thrilled! However, I could only recall watching one of the movies. I was scrolling through Netflix and discovered Open Season has at least 3 other movies. I played the first movie and was surprised to realize I never saw it! The first movie came out in 2006, the same year our son was born, so I was too busy being a new mom.
I remember when The Lion King came out in the theaters and on video! I believe we watched it on television whenever it came on and we even rented the movie! I don’t remember if we bought our own copy of the movie. As for my son, he has not watched The Lion King. He likes the newer movies, such as Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. He does watch The Lion Guard series on Disney Junior.
I knew when I saw the commercials for The Good Dinosaur I knew that it would be a cute movie. The relationship between Arlo and Spot is so adorable. An unlikely and unique friendship. Arlo takes on a human persona while Spot is more of the pet!
