Scent-sational Spring Must Haves

Beauty Brite DisclosureSpring always makes me happy. Everything comes out of its Winter funk and comes back to life. Grass, trees, and foliage burst into bloom and surround me with their sweet smells. It makes me want to find ways to bring those wonderous aromas into my home, as well. FragranceNet is the one-stop shop where I’m finding all the beautiful scents that are filling my home this year!

From head to toe and in the air all around your living space, you can bring Spring right inside your home with this selection of items: Northern Lights Candle in Sensual Rose & Hibiscus, AHAVE Mineral Botanic Velvet Cream Wash, COWSHED gorgeous cow blissful shower scrub, and Aura Cacia Geranium Essential Oil.

AHAVE Mineral Botanic Velvet Cream Wash

I found this beautiful glass bottle with decorative topper peacock during a recent shopping excursion to Hobby Lobby with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. I earmarked it for some shower gel or other similar product and just knew it would look great to display in the garden tub in my Master Bathroom. I chose to fill the bottle with this AHAVA Mineral Botanic Velvet Cream Wash. It features a lotus flower and chestnut scent and is great for women with sensitive skin. It comes in this large 17 oz. bottle which is beautiful enough on its own to be displayed in your bathroom, even if you don’t have a pretty decorative jar available to you. I particularly am enjoying the soft, creamy consistency of the cream wash because my skin definitely feels soft and pampered.

COWSHED gorgeous cow blissful shower scrub

COWSHED Gorgeous Cow Blissful Shower Scrub is another item with a great scent. It contains essential oils of lavender, cinnamon and ylang ylang and comes in this good-sized 6.76 fl. oz. size. A little goes a long way when added to a loofah or other bath scrubbie or sponge. This scent is very invigorating and instantly lifts my spirit, I just love it!

Just look at the COWSHED shower scrub when dispensed onto my hand. I really love that deep amber color and look at all of the exfoliating ingredients in there! My skin is left tingling and happy after using this scrub!

Either one of these body care items will give you a great jump into Spring to prep your skin for all of those short sleeve shirts, shorts, and bathing suits while waking your spirit up from that Winter hibernation.

But, why limit yourself to beautiful Spring scents in the bathtub when you can expand your scent horizons throughout your entire home?

Northern Lights Candle

I love candles! I can’t get enough of them and it’s a constant struggle not to purchase one or two everytime I’m out shopping around town. However, I have been pretty successful over the last couple of years at refraining from new candle purchases while focusing on actually using the ones I already owned.

It’s difficult to tell from this pic, but our Master Bedroom is painted a beautiful medium grey and our bedroom furniture is a deep espresso color. I have been wanting to find a candle for this room that is not only functional but beautiful, as well. The Northern Lights Candle in Sensual Rose & Hibiscus candle comes in this beautiful pink glass bowl with a decorative lid. It’s so beautiful that I’m planning to try to make my own scented candle liquid to refill it with once this candle has been consumed. The floral scent fills the large room without being overpowering, and is gorgeous in the process!

Aura Cacia Geranium Essential Oil

One thing I’ve been wanting to do is to incorporate essential oils into my life in a more pronounced way. In particular, I’d love to give making homemade soaps a try. Somewhere in my past I have this memory of someone in my life growing geraniums. I’m not sure if it was my Mom, one of my grandmothers, a babysitter… no clue, but the scent of geraniums triggers this vaguely familiar memory of some good time I had as a child.

I can’t wait to use this Aura Cacia Geranium Essential Oil in Geranium in some pretty decorative soaps for my Mom and my Mother-in-Law. They both love to display pretty soaps in their bathrooms, so I think it will make a very nice little Just-Because gift for them this summer. I love the scent of the essential oil and have just dabbed a drop or two on my wrists, kind of like you would with a perfume, and the scent will waft around me as I go about my regular daily routine. It’s like a little bit of Summer that travels wherever I go. Awesome!

I am so excited for Spring and Summer this year and these wonderful finds are helping me to get into the mood even though we are still having a bit of stormy weather in my area at the moment.
