When you have crazy sensitive skin and dry eyes, finding the right eye cream can be a bit of a challenge. I was given the opportunity to try an eye cream from an amazing brand that gets rave reviews: Malin + Goetz. After doing some research I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it to finally test it out.
My skin is combination oily, but my under eye area is dry because of my allergies. My eyes are always watery and I’m rubbing it, causing it to get extremely dry and red. Concealer does a good job covering it up, but there are days where I don’t want to wear makeup or don’t have the time to hide everything with concealer. I’d like to apply some foundation or tinted moisturizer and blush… that’s it. Will this Revitalizing eye cream help achieve this goal?
The Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Cream has:
- – Firming Peptides to help reduce the look of lines and wrinkles and firm eye area skin.
- – Marine Algae extract to stimulate skin renewal, which helps energize the look of eyes.
- – Grapeseed Oil – rich in antioxidants – and barrier strengthening.
- – Sunflower Oil to protect skin from free radicals and maintain skin’s inner moisture.
- – Fatty Acid Technology to deliver lightweight yet intense hydration.
- – Sodium Hyaluronate and Panthenol which will boost moisturization to increase softness and suppleness.
Well, let’s start with the one downside. The price. The Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Cream retails for $92 for .05 fl oz. This is a lot of money, but for the right product that’s going to do wonders for my skin, I’ll pay it. Also, keep in mind that a little goes a long way with eye cream. Using your ring finger, take a small amount and apply to the eye area using a gentle dabbing motion. You’re good to go!
The Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Cream comes in a nice blue plastic container that has a small plastic cover protecting the eye cream. I personally love when brands include something like this. The consistency is pretty much the same as others, it’s not thin, and absorbs nicely into the skin. It’s a white cream that goes on clear when you apply it. There is a scent, but it’s not a fragrance scent. I have allergies so I have to watch everything that I use.
When I first started using the Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Cream, it did feel a little tight and that’s something that happens with all skincare when I use it for the first time. I never know why that happens. After about a week the redness started to disappear, and my under eye area felt smooth and normal. Normally it feels so rough because of how dry and irritated it is.
I haven’t been using the eye cream for a super long time, maybe two to three weeks, but I’m starting to notice a positive difference in how my under eye area looks. Not only that but also how concealer sits and doesn’t crease under my eyes. Under eye concealer used to crease like crazy on me because of how dry it was. This says a lot of about a product. I can’t wait to see what results I get after one month!
While the retail cost is a lot to spend on skincare, it’s worth it when the results you’re receiving are positive. Especially if you’re not getting the same results from other brands. It’s important to make sure you’re using the best possible products for your skin. Order the revitalizing eye cream conveniently online and let us know what you think!
