Relax While Soaking Your Sore Muscles Away
I was extremely excited and relieved when I opened this package full of goodies, LET ME TELL YOU!!
It came at the most perfect time! I try to go to the gym everyday with my hunky man and give myself at least one rest day. For the past two months I had to take it easy because I had a procedure done that made me stay out of the gym and running for a month, then the last month I just eased back into getting active again at the gym with only doing light weights and doing the elliptical.
This week, I decided that I was hitting the weights like I use to, starting off with Leg Day. What the hell was I thinking?
I did my normal leg day routine doing a set each in a row with 10 reps each and did a total of 4 sets.
• Barbell back squats with 95 lbs,
• Leg extensions with 70 lbs
• Leg Curls with 55 lbs
• Leg Press with 205 lbs
Again, What the hell was I thinking?!
Today is Day 2 post Leg Day and I am walking like I’m Robocop. I’m so sore! This is why I was excited to open this box full of goodies.

I used Dr Teal’s Relax Epsom Salt Eucalyptus Spearmint Soaking Solution in my Jacuzzi bathtub. Beyond relaxing!!
I poured 2 cups slowly under the warm running water and soaked in it for 20 minutes to relieve my super stiff and sore quads and hamstrings. With the essential oils infused in the salts, it soothed my senses and helped me relax.
While I was in the bath, I used my exfoliating hand gloves to massage my body with the Healing Garden Eucalyptus & Mint salt scrub, concentrating more on my thighs and hamstrings. I’m so serious, I was sore!
While I was massaging with the body scrub, my jacuzzi jets started mixing it and it started to foam a lil bit.
Then once I patted my body dry from the bath, I lathered on some Dr Teal’s Epsom Salt Body Lotion all over my body, massaging more in my thighs & hamstrings. Then I sprayed on the Healing Garden Eucalyptus & Mint Body Spray all over my body. It’s good to spray it on top of the lotion because the scent will linger longer.
Eucalyptus has so many health benefits. I love it because I have seasonal allergies and it helps to clear out my congestion. It also wakes me up and relaxes the blood vessels, which increases blood circulation. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory so it helps to relieve the stress and pain (good post-workout pain).
I’m telling you, this could not have come at a better time! I feel so relaxed and pampered at the same time. I needed this!
After getting out of the bath and pampering myself, my muscles are 85% back to normal, pre leg day workout!
You do have to find about 30 minutes to yourself free from distractions to really get the full benefits.
