Personalization Should Be A Part of Gift Giving

Beauty Brite Disclosure

Being pregnant was such an amazing time in my life. We had battled with infertility for years and when I knew my son was actually going to make it I was ecstatic. Thinking about names was such a stressful time. As a child I grew up with a name everyone had, “Elizabeth”. May not seem so common but when I was little we had 9 in my class.

When I knew I was having a boy I wanted a unique name special only to him. Nothing too off the wall but something to distinguish him. I also wanted to select his nick name to help detour kids picking on him. I came up with “Mclachlan”.

At the time it seems so wonderful and his nick name could be “Mac”. Later in his years I realized finding items with his name on it were going to be impossible. He always asks to look for his name written on ornaments so this year I decided to start personalizing some items just for him, my special named boy!

Marked Moments Keepsakes have such a unique and creative site that ordering these were almost a given. Not only could I customize it with his name but also choose from a nice selections of styles, finishes and textures!

Personalization has become such a big part of my gift giving as the years have moved on. I can really show the people I love and care about just how much they mean by taking the time to create something just for them personally.

My son was so excited when he opened this that it now hands on his door handle for everyone to see. Trust me when I tell you he walks EVERYONE upstairs to show them! W
