When I was asked to try the Natural Faux Tan Look, I quickly agreed. I received Mary Kay products to recreate the natural faux tan look created by Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Luis Casco.
For a natural faux tan look, the key is to apply the perfect combination of blush and bronzer.
o Use brush to apply blush on cheeks and any areas the sun would naturally hit.
o Luis’ insider tip: “My little secret is to use a blush with some pink in it.” Luis’ favorite blush color is Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush.
o Choose a bronzer with a matte and shimmery effect like Mary Kay Bronzing Powder.
o Apply bronzing powder right over blush to get the famous “J. Lo glow.” Also apply to the neck area.
o Keep the look blended and natural by using a high-quality brush for application. Gradually layer on bronzer to get a gorgeous sun-kissed glow.
3. Finishing Touch
o Set the glowing look with Mary Kay Translucent Powder. Apply to any areas prone to oiliness like the T-zone and all over the face to set makeup.
I received two shades of Mary Kay Bronzer in Light/Medium and Medium/Dark, Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush, Mary Kay Translucent Powder and the Mary Kay Powder Brush. I love the opportunity to recreate beauty looks using Mary Kay products.
After following the directions, I found the natural faux tan to be incredibly easy to achieve. My faux tan looks completely natural! I found that the colors are perfect for my skin tone and easy to blend. Not only that, the Mary Kay makeup is high quality and lasts all day!
I love that I received two different Bronzer shades. If I want a light look, I can use the lighter shade and if I want a darker look, I can choose to use the dark shade.
After trying a few other Mary Kay looks, I am incorporating them in makeup routine! Each look is so much fun to try! Using Mary Kay makeup is so much fun too! You can see my previous looks: Blue Smoke Beauty Look and Summer Beauty Essentials.
