My Mommy Fantasy

Have you ever had a mommy fantasy?  I don’t think I have ever taken the time to think about my own wants and needs.  My family and everything else comes first for me.

As moms, we rarely take time for ourselves.  Do you ever take a minute to do something you want to do?  I do treat my blog as a full time job, but my family does come first.  Right now, we are in the middle of moving.  My husband and I have been packing and getting things ready to move in the morning, which is usually the time I do my blogging.

Right now, my mommy fantasy is to be working full time in an office setting.  I definitely want to go back to work full time.  I had an interview last week for my dream job!  I had an interview for a county job as an office assistant/call center representative.  The job sounded like it would be a great fit for me.

Anyway, that would be my mommy fantasy.  To go back to work.  I cannot control that fantasy.  In the meantime, I am looking for jobs throughout the day and applying for any position that interests me.

My second fantasy would be to return to college to earn my Bachelor’s Degree!  I would love to earn my degree in Sociology!  I love helping people.  What did you study in college?  Do you want to go back to earn a degree?

If I do not get hired for a job, I may reconsider returning to college.  I was attending an online college and did love learning.  I have a little over a year left of school to earn my Bachelor’s Degree.  There are a few degree programs I am interested in, including Behavioral Science and Cultural Anthropology.  I love the study of people and cultures.  I am fascinated by how people act the way they do or why they do the things they do in certain situations.
