This past weekend was Memorial Day Weekend. I had three days off from work and it was very much needed. For the last few weeks, I have been stressed and burned out. The weekend really allowed my mind and body to relax and recharge. I feel better now!
Last Friday, I also decided to sign up as a Beach Body Coach again. Earlier this month, I started drinking Shakeology and it has really help keep my energy levels elevated. I am no longer exhausted and tired at the end of the day. I used to be so tired by the time I got home from work that I did not want to work out. I have missed Shakeology and so glad to be drinking it again.
Last week, I started a different workout program called No More Trouble Zones by Jillian Michaels. I wanted something different from my treadmill, pilates and yoga. The first day, I did two circuit trainings, plus the warm-up and cool down. The second day, I did three circuit trainings, plus the warm-up and cool down and apparently I pushed myself too hard because that morning, I woke up nauseous and dizzy. The rest of the week was spent recovering and I think I pushed myself into a vertigo episode as well. My nausea and vertigo lasted almost the entire week.
This weekend, I started back on my circuit training! I am definitely taking it slow this week and in no hurry to rush through the workouts. I also hope to start a new workout program called 21 Day Fix. I have wanted to try this workout since I first heard about it. What I love about it is that the workouts are only 30 minutes. I work full time and by the time I get home, I have very little time for myself. A 30 minute workout sounds exciting to me!
