Melt proof beauty trends

Beauty Brite Disclosure
With the weather heating up, the last thing us girls want is our makeup to fade or melt away or our hair to get out of hand. We want to keep our hair tame and look great all day! As a busy mom, I don’t have time to fuss over reapplying makeup or fixing my hair. It is time to arm yourself with a few of the hottest beauty trends that are melt proof and weather proof.

When applying makeup, always start with a primer, such as Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. I like to think of primer as a way to prepare my face for the application process. I then use the Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C BB Cream SPF 20. It is lightweight on my skin and offers protection from the sun. Lumene is a favorite beauty brand of mine. The BB Cream helps even out my skintone and allows my makeup to really pop. I can blend my eye shadow for the perfect look. The Westmore Lasting Effects Coverage Perfector can be used as a concealer or foundation. It can also be layered on, so if I need more coverage, I use more product! I love that I can build upon my look.

I love the Sun Bum 3 in 1 Leave in Conditioner! I use it after showering. It helps soften and detangle my hair. As my hair dries, I no longer worry about frizz or static. I prefer to air dry my hair. My hair looks and feels more manageable. The conditioner would come in handy if I we were on vacation and I forgot to bring conditioner.

The Touchback Color Depositing Shampoo and Conditioner are made for a specific hair color so I haven’t used it since my hair is too dark. I have always wanted to lighten my hair. I usually get highlights around this time of the year. I saw a Facebook friend of mine get her hair darkened but it looks great on her. For me, my hair would have to be lightened to get that tone of color.

The Nios Whipped Hair Gel will come in handy to protect my scalp if we were to go on vacation and spend all day outside in the sun. We like to go to Disney World and we usually spend a few hours at each park! The last time we went, I saw in our pictures that my scalp was all red from being in the sun each day.

The Conair Detangle and Conair Detangle & Style come in handy when I comb through wet hair. I remember when I got my hair permed, I had to use a wide tooth comb. My hair is no longer that thick, but I still comb through my hair after showering. I can also take the combs on the go!

I adore brushes these days that allow you to use on wet hair, such as the Conair Detangle Brush. When I was growing up, I was always taught by my mom not use to a brush on wet hair, I had to use a comb. Now, they make brushes with flexible bristles that can glide though wet or dry hair.

All of the beauty products mentioned above are attainable and affordable. They are all under $35 or so. I have read many beauty round up stories and each time, they feature products that you can only find at department stores. My time and budget doesn’t allow me to shop at department stores for beauty products. You can find the products mentioned above online or your favorite beauty store. No need to go to a department store and spend a fortune on one product. That is my kind of beauty trend!
