Rose blossoms proliferate in the summer time, but I enjoy rose-scented products all year round. C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries is helping me do just this right now with their Rose Perfume Oil and Rose Salve. I have a rose-scented hand lotion that I love to use sometimes, and these two C.O. Bigelow items perfectly compliment it so I have been using them all together.
My daughter loves these items, too, and has tried to “accidentally” borrow and never return them a few times already. The little stinker! Well, we do share a lot of things, from beauty products to hair dryers, books to jewelry and a ton of stuff in between. I guess I can share these, too.
Perfume is something that I’ve been running low on for a long time. Somehow, over the years, I just haven’t bought any new fragrances because I had two bottles of perfume already that I really liked…and perfume can be fairly pricey. But, the two fragrances I had are long gone and it’s about time for some new stuff.
I really love the C.O. Bigelow brand of products, in general, and have quite a bit of their stuff. This little bottle of rose-scented C.O. Bigelow Perfume Oil is perfect! A tiny application goes a long way in terms of effectiveness. A tiny dab or two on my wrists or in the folds of my elbows or knees exudes the exquisite fragrance of fresh-cut roses for hours.
Also, it’s the perfect size to tuck into my pants pocket or the small makeup bag I keep in my purse for additional applications anytime I need them. Even though the bottle may look small, make no mistake — it will last a long time simply because it doesn’t take much product to smell great all day long.
Dry lips are the bane of my existence. I always, always, always keep several tubes of lip balm or gloss in my purse because I hate dry lips more than anything. And, because, I just feel naked with nothing at all on my lips. You know that age-old question: “If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have 3 things…” Well, one of my must-haves would absolutely be lip balm!
I love the cute metal tin that C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve comes in. It reminds me of those fun-scented lip balms that came in rectangle-shaped tins with the sliding lids that I had as a kid. I can’t remember the name of them, but they were my favorite!
And it’s not only great for lips, it’s good for all patches of dry skin you may suffer from — on your hands, elbows, knees, face, cuticles, wherever! My cuticles are chronically shredding, too, and this has been a lifesaver for keeping them looking soft and supple.
C.O. Bigelow products are not tested on animals and are made in the USA. As if I needed anything more to say that’s positive about the brand. Have you tried C.O. Bigelow products? What are your faves?
