Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Did they use gender selection to have a boy?

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced that they were pregnant with their second child, I was thrilled for them. From her many interviews, she revealed that it was difficult for them to conceive.

I do not dislike Kim or Kanye.

They intrigue me.

I admit, I would love to have their money and fame but I do enjoy my own life. It’s nice to dream a little, right?

It is reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West opted to use IVF gender selection to have boy embryos implanted. Why is this a huge topic? Is it because it’s Kimye?!

What about the couples who adopt a child and want certain traits, such as a baby or young child? Certain sex? Certain race? What about the couples who give their child up for adoption because they had a disabled child? Isn’t that choosing what child they raise? On the other hand, there are people who choose to adopt disabled children.

Are the couples being selective like Kimye?

I cannot speak from personal experience about this subject. My husband and I have one child. I would love to have another child. It would be fun to have a little girl. Watching my son and husband together, they have a special bond. There are times when our son wants to hang out with his dad. He likes to do what his dad does, such as play on the computer or play the same games his dad does. I would love that kind of bond. I would be selective with the toys I bought her; I would choose toys that I played with as a child.

Inside, I know that is probably not the best idea to have another child. Our son has Autism. He can be a handful. We have to watch him constantly. We have to be aware of our surroundings, his behavior and adapt. If he is about to have a meltdown, we have to be ready to leave the situation.

Don’t get me wrong, if we were to get pregnant, we would embrace it. It would be amazing but we are not actively trying.

What are your thoughts on gender selection?

  1. I think anything surrounding the Kardashians and gender is going to be a big deal right now. It’s like the royal family plus the Caitlyn Jenner controversy all rolled into one. Will they have a prince to join their princess, blah blah blah. Honestly, love ’em or hate ’em, whatever comes out of those two is going to be beautiful!

    • I agree! I think we love to talk about the Kardashians because there are so many of them and they are all doing their own thing but also stick together as a family. Most love to hate them or hate to love them. People have said that Kim Kardashian is very professional and always on time for jobs/interviews. I am glad she found love and that she has her family that took her so long to find.

With all of the problems they had trying to conceive, I would understand if they did this. She, most likely, won’t be able to get pregnant again. Love them or hate them, pretty much everybody knows who they are. Yes, we wouldn’t know who she was if it weren’t for the sex tape, but she turned herself into an empire. The entire family owes her big time. lol
