Are you a busy person with lots of daily tasks and events to keep track of? While many people enjoy having everything on their phones, you’ll be surprised at how many keep track of daily to-dos the old fashioned way. With a daily planner. A great option to remain organized and on track of your busy lifestyle is with an Erin Condren Lifestyle Planner. As someone who works full-time, has a beauty blog, and an Etsy shop, not to mention regular day-to-day life tasks, the Erin Condren lifestyle planner has been a life saver for me.
About the Erin Condren Planner
With an Erin Condren lifestyle planner you’re getting a monthly and weekly planner that also offers note pages before each month (one page), and multiple pages at the end of the planner. In the past most people ignore the notes pages, but thanks to many creative people on ETSY, they’ve come up with sticker kits to not only help you stay on track of your life, but also utilize every page in the planner.
Erin Condren has three options for her build your own life planners: Hourly, Vertical, and Horizontal in either the neutral or colorful layout. The hourly is great, but doesn’t match up with my hours. The vertical never really worked so I opted for the horizontal. While the vertical is the most popular in the planning community, the horizontal is what gives me planner peace. Planner peace is crucial, because without it, you won’t want to use your planner. You can also customize your coil and cover! Also note, her covers are removable so you can switch them out each season, for special occasions, or the holidays!
Using the Lifestyle Planner
Using the Erin Condren Planner is easy! She includes stickers at the back of the planner and you can even decorate with stickers from Etsy shops or crafts stores like Michael’s. You have your monthly view as well as the weekly view. With the hourly, you’re planning by the hour, the vertical you’re planning vertically from top to bottom, and horizontal you plan left to right.
With the monthly view section I always keep track of beauty or blogger events, any goals I have, and important deadlines (blogging, freelance work, or personal life), and bills. The stickers make the page look nice, and works great at making important information stand out.
In the horizontal planner I can add decorate box stickers in the far right, and a heart checklist in the actual planner. I’m someone who needs to have a daily “to-do” list and this is the layout that works the best. I write down everything that needs to get done in the middle and I can check it off as I complete it. To the far left I’ll add stickers for important daily events (work meeting, dentist appointment, going to the gym, tv show I have to watch, etc).
The last page has a notes section at the bottom where you can keep track of your work schedule, blogging schedule, dinner plans, important things to get done that week, and your goals for the week.
How do you like to stay organized? The planning community is a great place for planner tips, suggestions, and overall questions you need about getting your life organized!
