Dull, lifeless skin definitely is a major concern that I face daily and that is not meant to be a pun. Sure there many creams, serums, potions and tonics to use for so many different concerns we may have. But what IF you could find all those properties you get in so many different forms in one small package?
This may sound a bit far-fetched but these days more and more people are using masks as their remedy to skin concerns. Since this trend is on the rise again, I thought I’d feature a couple of options for masking to help you out.
7TH Heaven (a division of Montagne Jeunesse LTD, A UK based company that has been in business for over 30 years) offers a line of facial masks that are cruelty-free, inexpensive and known for “wow” fragrances and innovative ingredients. The brand is sold in mass market and grocery outlets throughout the U.S.
When I first discovered 7TH Heaven masks at my local drugstore, what quickly caught my eye was the brightly colored single-serve pouch that it comes in. I also love that these masks also have some of the most enticing and interesting ingredients I have ever come across in facial masks.
There are many different types to choose from ranging from peel-offs to mud masks to self-warming masks and now exfoliating masks, which are available in varieties such as Argan oil, Creamy Coconut, Raspberry, Peach, Pomegranate, Manuka Honey and even Chocolate!
Exfoliator & Masque: Suitable for all skin types this double-duty mask will brighten and rejuvenate dull skin with natural resurfacing ingredients. The mask sweeps away dead skin cells, revs up circulation, and refreshes with an uplifting aroma of natural orange oil. The key ingredients include Crushed Dead Sea salt, Grated Orange Peel, and Ground Black Lava.
This one is my favorite of the two mentioned in this article. This mask grabbed me right away with the refreshing scent of Orange peel. It goes on white and dries to a slight grey tint. You will experience some tingling from the Dead Sea Salt as it starts to exfoliate and cleanse your skin while you relax. When the time is up and just rinse it off. After using the 7th Heaven Exfoliator & Masque my skin felt cool, hydrated and very soft to touch.
Clean Up Mud Mask: Targeted for oily and combination skins this mask features a special mud blend of aloe vera, willow, evening primrose and witch hazel. This feast of nature’s most efficacious ingredients for the face targets problem and breakout prone areas as well as uneven skin tone, and it deep cleanses without stripping skin of natural oils.
Even us more mature ladies still breakout from time to time, so I appreciate being able to try a mask that can target those problem areas and still be gentle to the skin. This mask felt a bit tighter as it was obviously pulling away all the impurities and detoxifying my skin. Rinsing this off I could see my pores were diminished and my face felt very clean with no irritation or redness. I highly recommend this mask if you are acne prone, have very oily skin or need a good detox once in a while.
What skin issues do you have to address? Which 7th Heaven facial product would you choose to help you put your best face forward every day?
