Being a beauty blogger, I receive a ton of products to try. Sometimes, I wish I had sisters or lived closer to my extended family just so I could share everything that I receive! Many times, I end up giving away a lot of products. I’ve shipped boxes home to my mom but that can get expensive. I’ve also given them to my husband to take to work with him.
I’ve tried the SonicBLEND before and loved it, check out what I thought about the makeup tool that saves time. However, I realized that my mother-in-law needed the SonicBLEND more than I did. She was (and still is) having issues with her hands. She has a medical condition that restricts movement in her arms and hands. Plus, she needed a makeup brush, she was using an old makeup brush that friend gave her. I had only tried the SonicBLEND a few times before I gave her the brush!
When the time came for me to try Michael Todd Beauty products again, I wanted another chance to share my experience with the SonicBLEND!
What if you could get that flawless look at sonic speed? I’ve been using the SonicBLEND for about a week now and there are a few tips to consider!
Meet the SonicBLEND:
I am excited that I was able to choose what color I wanted. Of course, I chose tortoise shell! It’s cute. It’s unique!
I’ve been using both powder and liquid foundation with the SonicBLEND. Personally, liquid foundation is a little easier for me to apply. I will keep trying different methods with using the SonicBLEND. Regardless, my foundation looks flawless!
It is easy to use the SonicBLEND:
Step 1: Start by choosing your foundation. If you’re using powder foundation, I dip the brush in the powder, turn on the SonicBLEND and then apply as usual. If you’re using liquid foundation, I like to dab foundation on my face first and then blend with the brush!
Step 2: Blend, blend, blend. Use the desired speed and apply your makeup!
Step 3: I like to focus on my imperfections. My last step is to use a little extra care on my scars and discolorations.
You can also use the SonicBLEND. to apply blush, bronzer and finishing powder.
Be sure to clean your makeup brushes regularly! I like to wash them at least once a week. I found that using Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Liquid Soap cleans my brushes perfectly! I dab a little soap on my makeup brushes and swirl in my hand. Then, I use warm water to rinse clean.
