My Review:

First, I want to thank the author, Scott Schmaltz, for signing the book and including a personal message!

I enjoyed reading Get Skinny: The Six-Week Body Challenge.  Schmaltz is very positive, informative and motivating.  The book is very detailed with the foods to eat and workouts to follow.  It even includes personal stories from people who have struggled but overcame the weight.

My husband and I are trying to eat healthy foods.  I also started menu planning which helps me focus on making a wholesome meal for my family.  Before I started menu planning, I would just make the easiest or fastest meal at dinner time because I was too tired.  Our menu is pretty limited since I am not much of a cook and I am also a vegetarian (I do eat seafood).  My husband is a meat eater but I don’t cook it nor do I know how.

In the past, we would buy pre-packaged and pre-made because they were quick.  We also bought these type of foods because they were affordable.  This book also made me realize we were eating to live, instead of eating to be healthy.  We will do our best to eat healthy while staying within a reasonable budget.

This book truly is written to help anyone challenge themselves and their body in six weeks.  Schmaltz lays it all out for you in an easy step by step plan to follow.
