For me, this summer came and went with the blink of an eye. By next week, my son will be a kindergartener and beginning a brand new school. This is a time of huge transition for my family and I want to stay at the top of my game.
I am a huge fan of Beachbody! Over the years, I have enjoyed Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, 21 Day Fix, PiYo and many others. I prefer Beachbody programs because I can workout in the comfort of my own home. Plus, I can choose to workout any time of day without worrying about finding a babysitter. With our child having special needs, we don’t have the option of using a traditional daycare.
Since becoming a mother and wife, I still try to look and feel my best. A low-carb lifestyle has done wonders for my body; keeping off inches and helping me feel more energetic. I try to work out 4-5 times a week while working, writing, and caring for our family.
I workout at home. A few years ago, I used to do a variety of cardio workout programs, including Turbo Jam, 21 Day Fix, Jillian Michaels DVDs and several others. When health issues and working full time got in the way, I had to tone it down. These days, I like to do yoga. I also enjoy walking and jogging on my treadmill, pilates and even walking outside.

We were lucky enough to go on vacation to Disney World a few weeks ago and I still have Disney on the mind! Since we are on a budget, I shopped online for my Disney needs. Just about every evening, upon returning from the parks, I would search online for any sales at Disney Store. You would be surprised at what you will find on sale!
This week, I started doing yoga. I wanted a calm and less strenuous workout to do while I am still sick. We’ve been sick for about two weeks now. Last week, I started feeling better but then my sickness caught another wind and still trying to get better. I use a diffuser and Himalayan salt lamp for my overall health and wellness.
Summer is here. The sun is out. The temperatures are hot! That means you should hydrate! Drink water throughout the day. This summer, we decided to go on vacation to Disney World. It’s been about 4 or 5 years since we’ve been to Disney World, let alone vacation! It was time for a break!

Mornings can be so hectic, especially if you have kids. Some days, it may feel like a struggle just to get everyone out the door on time. On days like those, squeezing in a morning workout might be the last thing on your mind. However, a morning workout can give you an extra energy boost and help you have a more productive day.
Every year my husband and I put on a few pounds during the winter and then when early summer rolls around, we quickly realize it’s time to make some smarter decisions regarding our diet and physical activity. It’s easier said than done, but if you have the right products it can certainly make the journey to better health a whole lot easier!
Anyone who lives an active lifestyle will tell you that sometimes they suffer from chafing skin, chiefly in the area of their thighs but also in other areas like the underarms. Chafing can be caused by many activities — walking, running, working out, hiking, among many others. My son has been a trumpet player in the Marching Band at his high school for the last couple of years. Last summer I can clearly recall him mentioning that he was dealing with this issue on his thighs and where his underwear rubbed against his skin due to all of the marching that they do during summer band camp.
Chassis® Premium Powder is a great product, in my opinion, because it is geared specifically toward adults and marketed toward those with active lifestyles. I purchased a small bottle of some kind of baby talcum powder for my son last summer, but he was a little embarrassed to use it around his friends because, well, it’s a product marketed for babies. He loves Chassis® Premium Powder because it’s a manly product that he can use without feeling self-conscious…. [read more]
