I remember when Cars came out in theaters! It came out the same year our son was born. That year, we saved Cars and many other Disney movies and shows on DVR and played them over and over for our son.

“Mom, I’m Bored” can be the most over said sentence during any school break. I often find myself stocking up on new crafts and small toy sets just to limit that sentences usage. Do not get me wrong I truly believe it is “ok” to have a “bored” kid on your hands because it encourages them to use their imagination. I also believe harnessing those creative juices can help eliminate several unnecessary battles.
If you’ve read previous posts by me, you might already know that my family are complete Star Wars fanatics. My husband and I have been fans since we were kids, my son quickly caught on a developed and love for the series all his own.
Earlier this year, I remember reading about Disney’s newest princess, Elena of Avalor. I didn’t give it too much thought until I went to Disney World this past October. It was my niece and nephew’s first visit, and I quickly discovered my 3-yr old niece, who also considers herself to be a princess, was a huge Elena fan.
MOANA is in theatres now! Have you seen it? We are unable to go to the movies due to financial reasons as well as our son’s special needs. We prefer watching movies at home.
Every Friday night we’ve developed a special ritual in our house: Family Movie Night. At the end of a long week, it’s a chance to come together, bond, and reconnect as a family unit. Each of us has really come to look forward to these special Friday nights!
My son has been dying to see Disney’s newest movie, Moana, since we saw the trailer for it in theaters. If you haven’t seen Moana, you need to drop everything and plan a family night at the movies this weekend!
Everyone in my house loves animated movies, especially when they combine human and animal characters. The Wild Life was a lot of fun to watch. I liked the parrot and cat characters, but absolutely adored the goat, Scrubby. He tries to eat just about anything because he can’t see worth a darn and can’t tell what’s food and what’s not.
