It’s not often a piece of entertainment, or animation, in this case, stands the test of time to become a beloved classic. Of course, when it comes from the mind of Walt Disney and the Golden Age of Disney animation, it should surprise no one. One such classic was born seventy-five years ago when a little prince, known as Bambi, made his debut on the big screen. Since then generations have come to love Bambi. Disney is celebrating that anniversary with the release of Bambi The Anniversary Edition on Disney Movies Anywhere on May 23, and on Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand on June 6.
Twenty-five years ago, I feel in love with the animated classic Beauty and the Beast. To this day, it remains one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. When the news broke that Disney was going to be doing a live action version of this classic, I was excited and skeptical. Would it live up to the original? How would they bring all the amazing characters to life?
I was so excited when I received my copy of Tangled: Before Ever After being one of my favorite Disney movies. I have three young children ages five, three, and eighteen months, all who love anything Tangled. It’s always so nice to be able to sit down and watch a family movie without having to worry about what might show up on the screen.

When I was growing up, I can only recall a few Asian actors in a handful of movies and television shows. Even the toys I grew up with, they were all blonde hair, with the exception of Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony. My favorite Cabbage Patch Dolls all had blonde hair as well. These days, dolls come in all colors! There are also all kinds of television shows and movies with more variety!
In 2015, Star Wars returned to the big screen with the blockbuster success of The Force Awakens. The legacy and power of a galaxy at war is sustained in an all new adventure: Rogue One – A Star Wars Story.

Our exclusive interview with Director Bill Condon and Alan Menken (Music By) was so much fun! To be in the same room with such legends was an honor. The way they talked about collaboration with anyone and everyone they could was inspiring. I am more open to collaboration on my own blog. When people bring their talent to one project, it allows everyone to learn and create something even better!
