Amazing and Natural Uses of Borax

I did not start looking into green cleaning until I was pregnant with my son. As soon as he was born, I really started using green cleaning methods. I mainly used baking soda to scrub and clean our bathroom sink and tub. Now, I use white vinegar, borax and baking soda for various uses around the home.

About Borax:

20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth.  Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried and boxed.  Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes.  Absolutely nothing is added.  No phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals.

I love using Borax in my homemade laundry soap.  Our clothes come out clean.  I also enjoy using Borax as a laundry booster.

I also use Borax to clean my carpet.  When there are stains, I make a paste and apply on the stains.  I just rub the carpet with a wet cloth and borax paste with water.  Then I use the vacuum to clean up after it has dried.  The stains are gone or less noticeable and the carpet smells fresh and clean.  Borax can remove stains on carpet and clothes.

I also love using Borax as a general cleaner in the bathtub, sinks and toilet.  Borax is easy to use and affordable.  I am so amazed at the many uses with Borax.  I only need to use a little bit when cleaning with Borax, so in all, it can be a money saver.  It is a great solution when you are trying to be frugal.

Borax offers so many household cleaning solutions.  I choose Borax over any other cleaner because it is safe to use.  It cleans thoroughly and leaves no scent or residue.  It is so easy to clean with borax.  It is gentle on my hands when I do have to clean with it.  Plus, if I get it on my clothes, it won’t stain, it will give my laundry a boost.
