As women age, we are well aware of how our bodies change. Whether we gain weight, look fuller, trying to lose weight, looking and feeling healthier, we are very aware of our own beauty. As for me, I am working towards getting fit. However, I also want that extra help with “the girls.”
When choosing products for my son, I shop on a budget. I also consider his health. As consumers, we have choices as to what products we want to use with our family. Some companies have different standards. As for me, I like to buy natural and versatile products if I can.
Summer is here. While some kids are still in school, others are already enjoying their summer. Summer always seems to fly right by, so enjoy it!
I am looking forward to the summer months! I normally do not swim but this year, I plan on spending time by the pool! I hope to attend a few pool parties and even blog poolside! I am also looking forward to swimming and having drinks by the pool! Yes, that is my plan for this summer!
While I hate the 100 degree temps here in Arizona, I am so happy that I am not dealing with the humidity that is happening in other parts of the United States. I have come to deal with dried out hair in my own way so I do not have over-damaged hair by the end of the day. Throughout the year I use a deep conditioner in my hair to help it out with the moisture issues that I have.
I have worn glasses for most of my life. When I wore glasses in the past, you would may not have noticed I was wearing eye makeup at all. So I have found a way to make sure that my eyes get noticed whenever I wear my glasses. Add a little pop! Yes, it is can be done!
I am starting to get sad over here now that the Gorgeous Hair Event is coming to an end. I was exploring new products, discovering new products that are doing wonders for my hair and letting my locks try something new that they most liking would not have. These events that Ulta puts on are a way to try something new at a much more afford the price that we can all handle.
Being in a constant state of being busy and always on the go it’s easy for me to start feeling overwhelmed. Over the years my circle of friends has dwindled down to just a select few that I can depend on for anything. They mean the world to me and I would love to have a few of them live closer to me. The sad truth is that lately talking to my close friends but not being able to hang out with them in person sometimes is just not enough for me. Some days to keep going and doing what I have to do is a task that feels insurmountable. Something that has been a big help in making me change my thinking and be more positive during hard times are positive affirmations like those we all see popping up in our social media newsfeeds.

For years, when I was in grade school, my family lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I loved having all the seafood and the taste of the Gulf at our fingertips. Po Boys, crab, shrimp, and crab boils are all good eats to me.
The thing that I miss the most not being near the Gulf Coast is the desserts. I miss the real Key Lime Pie with Grand Marnier whipped cream that is made fresh in so many local places there. Another dessert that I love to indulge in when I am in Florida is Banana pudding with Nilla Wafers.
