A Natural Clean In Honor Of Earth Day - Camille Rose Naturals and Indie Lee Beauty Products

Beauty Brite DisclosureAll-natural and eco-friendly beauty products are popping up all over the place in recent years. I really like this trend and have been trying out various such beauty and personal care products for some time now.

With Earth Day being all about appreciating the natural environment our Earth provides, I thought it appropriate to share a few natural beauty products with our readers.

Camille Rose Naturals Clean Rinse Moisturizing & Clarifying Shampoo Honey & Peppermint

Camille Rose Naturals™ Clean Rinse Moisturizing & Clarifying Shampoo is a natural solution to dry, frizzy hair. The sulfate-free, ph balanced moisturizing and clarifying shampoo will rinse away minerals and product build up to leave you with fresh, clean, healthy hair. The shampoo contains olive oil and peppermint infused with honey which serves to stimulate hair growth and sooth the scalp which can help those who have issues with scalp skin conditions. After use, hair will be soft, shiny and manageable.

Creater, Janelle Stephens, a vegan mother of five, created Camille Rose Naturals™, a hand-made, natural hair, skin and body care products for those interested in all-natural personal care products and total wellness.

I love this stuff. It makes my scalp feel so good after using it and leaves my hair feeling super clean and very manageable. The peppermint not only smells great, but leaves my scalp feeling like the skin is clean and energized. This translucent shampoo feels super soft and luxurious right out of the bottle and glides into my hair easily. It is recommended to rinse it out of hair with cool water and follow with a Camille Rose Conditioner.

Camille Rose products just launched in Walmart stores recently and is also available at Target, Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walgreens as well as at the Camille Rose Naturals website.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser and COQ-10 Toner

Indie Lee created her eco-friendly line of products after surviving a brain tumor which was believed to have been the result of environmental toxins. It features 20 great skin care products incouding all kinds of facial and body products such as serums, creams and lotions, cleansers and others to body creams. There are even an eye balm and anti-aging collection available. And all of Indie Lee’s products are created to be natural and great for your all skin types, as well as friendly to the environment.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser is an antioxidant-rich formula with a light strawberry scent that can be used in a variety of ways. Aside from being a simple cleanser, it can also be left on facial skin for 5-10 minutes acting as an exfoliant or used to clean makeup brushes.

“A blend of natural ingredients- including lycopene and hydrolyzed wheat protein – make it ideal for cleansing, hydrating, tightening, firming, and complexion control.” — product description from Indie Lee website

For those who are sensitive to smells, this is a perfect cleanser as it not only leaves skin feeling pampered and soft but also features such a light, barely-there strawberry scent. I love trying out new beauty products and sharing my experiences and I will say that this skincare line is one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of using.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser and COQ-10 Toner

Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner contains powerful antioxidant CoQ-10 to help correct UV damage, fight premature aging, providing essential hydration to skin. It also helps to close pores and balance skin’s pH level with Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid and provides anti-inflammatory and anti-aging benefits, as well. It is alcohol-free and non-drying.

After using the brightening cleanser, saturate a cotton pad with the toner and apply to face and throat, avoiding the eye area and then follow with moisturizer. Again, this product does not have an overpowering or abrasive scent but does make my skin feel very refreshed. I love that it helps to correct UV damage. A couple of years ago I attended my son’s soccer game on a bright, sunny Spring day. I didn’t pay much attention to the fact that as I sat there in my camping chair the sun was passing by me, all on one side of my body. As a result, my right arm and the right side of my face got a lot more direct sun than the left and ended up burned. I looked pretty weird for awhile until the redness went away. It’s not very noticeable, but the skin on the right cheek is still a tad darker than the rest of my face. I’m hoping that eventually it will go away entirely, even though I’m the only one who notices it.
