Go, go, go. Our society is always on the go. Many people are busy, rushing to the next destination, appointment or task.
Compared to other families, I know our schedules are mild. However, my husband and I have completely different schedules most of the time. He works various hours each week. As a mom and wife, I work from home. I also take care of my family and household. I love what I do.
I am always searching for ways to slow down and add zen to my life. I like to take time each weekend to slow down and recharge for a new week.
Here are 5 easy ways to add zen to your life:
1. Breathe In, Breathe Out
Try an oil diffuser! I love mine! You can read about why it is a perfect little diffuser. I use it to add a refreshing scent to our indoor air. I use it when our son is feeling sick, having a bad day or just want to purify our air.
Open a window! If you can open the window to fresh air, do it!
Try a Himalayan Salt Lamp to clean and purify the air. I find himalayan salt lamps beautiful and calming to look at. They add a soft glow to your room. There are also many other health benefits to using a salt lamp, such as better sleep and improved concentration.

5. Take a break
