They say, eyes are the windows to your soul. 1.                  Gooseberry is known to be very good for eyes. They brighten eyes and keep them in perfect condition. Splash your eyes with the water in which you have soaked gooseberry powder overnight.
2.                  Refresh tired eyes with Rosewater. Saturate 2 ball of cotton wool with rosewater. Add a couple of drops of castor oil to it. Now place these saturated pads on your eyes and relax for a few minutes.
3.                  A weak solution of tea leaves is excellent for brightening tired eyes. Strain and cool the decoction before you use it. Make two eye-pads using cotton wool saturated with this solution and place to eyes. Alternatively, you can also splash your eyes with this solution. It refreshes and brightens them.
4.                  Whatever the shape or color of your eyes, you can follow eye makeup tips to make them look larger and brighter. Use natural eye shadow of off white color or a light tone on your eyelids. Apply grey or brown shade on the brow bone to offset the lighter tone on the lids.
5.                  Apply eyeliner and mascara. It is not your eyes that will look big, beautiful and bright but your face will also look younger.
6.                  To add depth to eyes, apply the eye shadow using sideways “v” that begins from the crease, moves outward, sweeps upwards and then inwards.
7.                  Do not neglect to apply a darker colored shadow to the brow bones.
Apart from these tips that will take care of your eyes externally, you must also take care of them internally. A good diet is essential for bright eyes. Take a diet rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E is essential for bright and healthy eyes. Consuming food rich in zinc prevents age related eye problems. Other foods that are good for eyes are carrots, blackcurrants, nuts, seeds and spinach et al.
